    Loved the way they told the story through political figures. Theaters have been reported being packed! I hope we know some numbers soon.

    Yeah everything is way down from last Sunday because of the holiday.

    Hoping Shin Godzilla can hold even better than your prediction! It's pretty amazing it's still in the top 10 going into almost 2 months of release. I thought it was already at 70m going into the weekend, but oh well. I would say it would have a shot at 80m if they weren't cutting into its theater amount. 75m is the goal now though if there's even a goal for it.

    I could be wrong, but Parr and the 7 children were talked about in the first film. It's there already. Now, I guess maybe Michael from the first film got so scared he went into the corner(like James and his friend in this new movie)..... Witch kills Heather and eventually Michael like in this new movie.

    I was 10 when TBWP came out and could tell the witch was doing more than just loring them to the house. Them following their compass and ending in the same area is a give away. Then they follow the river and somehow end up in the same area. It's there, but you get the definite answers in this new movie... Heather did know how to use the map/compass, it was the witch playing mind games. You get answers to the first, while they definitely add more to what the witch can do.. like the time fuckery.

    The movie isn't THAT bad. It really expands on the mythology..

    The crazy thing is Blair Witch isn't even that bad. There's legitimately some scary ass moments in this. Yeah, there's some annoying moments, but I thought it was a great modern sequel.

    Shin Godzilla is experiencing a 0% drop from last Sunday as well! I wonder if it has a shot at having a 2m weekend now. Everything is having a pretty decent Sunday it seems.

    Blair Witch did everything I wanted it to do .... So disappointed with its opening weekend numbers.....

    There's EIGHT new releases next week. Where does Shin Godzilla fit in that? Are any of these new releases expected to open big? Worried Shin Godzilla will drop low in the top ten this upcoming weekend!

    The one thing I'm ready for is that we'll actually see the Blair Witch this time. Yeah, it MIGHT have worked with the first film not showing it... But I don't feel you can do it again here. #showthewitch

    Looks like all of the new films opened pretty well, and over expectations!?(besides Egypt) Shin Godzilla held up pretty well considering the amount of new releases and the fact it lost a decent amount of screens. Overall a pretty good weekend it looks like!

    Is this holiday a Monday through Friday? If so this definitely will be the week Shin Godzilla crosses 70m plus some. Anyway, Your Name. is really fun to watch. It's barely decreased.
