  1. Seems kinda hefty, or is it normal to have bigger weekday drops and recover towards the end of the week going to the weekend?
  2. Yeah, with there being more Godzilla coming from Hollywood soon, plus a $40m+ Toho Godzilla(not including other countries), they're making some serious $ with the character.
  3. Please help explain. Is that number including Shins Friday? Hoping the answer is no.
  4. Wasn't it like 2-3m on Friday for a 8-9m fri-sun? Orrrr is the Saturday total including friday? I'm hoping not and the overall gross for it is 8-9 and when you guys say 3day total your not meaning sat-monday. Help!!!!! Overall it seems reviews are quite good(see yahoo Japan movies)
  5. Am I looking at this right, is Shin-Godzilla slowing down quite a bit today?(Monday)
  6. Which is kind of crazy because it's drastically different then what were use to in a G film. Depending on box office numbers, looks like Toho has successfully rebooted their version of Godzilla. Two concurrent Godzilla franchises...crazy.
  7. Something I'm gonna have to wait and see. Want to see it all happen in motion.
  8. Could that mean Shin-Gojira is selling out seats and expanding?
  9. Which could potentially be a $8m friday-sunday opening? I think Toho wouldove that and would probably announce a sequel Immediately. The Evangelion connection is probably gonna help too.
  10. If you reread my post it's just a hope..sorry for the confusion.
  11. Japan had its world premiere yesterday. Will be interesting to see how it does there since it's been 12 years since the last Toho film, Godzilla Final Wars, which didn't do so well.
  12. To each his own. Plenty of people enjoyed G14. 05 Kong was good, but this film is obviously more comparable to Godzilla 2014 since they're set inn the same world etc.
  13. OK... this looks pretty amazing. I want to skip to March now... then 2020 for Godzilla vs Kong
  14. Kong looks super large in that poster..... it'll all work out. In this universe it seems Godzilla loses energy using his radioactive breath. Can't wait to see the eventual battle. First, Kong gets his movie.
