That's funny - then explain to me why so many action movies nowadays have actors like Tom, Liam Neeson, Keanu Reeves, etc. Hell isn't Denzel in an action movie sequel right now?

You do realize that people my age (2 years younger than Cruise) & older consider Tom to have memorable acting roles & we remember lines from his movies. "I feel the need...the need for speed", "Show me the money", "I want the truth", "Oh Louis, Louis...still whining". He has also worked with the greats - Paul Newman, Jack Nicholson, Dustin Hoffman, Robert Duvall, etc. along with top directors. At this point I think he makes what he likes - action movies & he is great at it. I thought he was great in Magnolia & would like to see more of that - he was brilliant as Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder cursing everyone out. I mean there is a reason they copied the escalator scene from Rain Man in The Hangover - Iconic & that is what Tom is.

I so agree - seems like we go thru this same thing every time an MI movie comes out.

I like The Rock I just think he should pick better scripts - this looked unappealing & even though San Andreas made money I thought it was ridiculous.

I'm quite confused - why do so many posters think Christopher Robin will be this giant hit? I don't get it - I have heard absolutely no buzz whatsoever about it.

I would guess the World Cup - England won today & is going to the semi-finals - I'm sure lots of celebrating instead of movie-going.

Exactly - it is just your opinion. You are the only one complaining the movie didn't open to over $100 mill. It opened great - you are the only one disappointed - you seem to thrive on being disappointed.

Oh it's awful - did my errands early in the morning & was still dripping sweat at 8 in the morning - just horrible.

That sucks - we finally got rid of the extreme heat & humidity today - had the windows open most of the day - it was lovely - haven't been able to do that in quite a while. Hang in there.

Hot bath/shower - sorry about your circulation though - it's my feet that get cold in the winter but I just wear thermal socks & boots. I like the heat when I'm at the beach or pool otherwise no - I love the fall - sweater weather.

Never!! And it's truly awful out - I too would much rather have cold than heat - always ran hot & I just pour sweat in this weather which makes me very grouchy - thank God for AC!

You couldn't pay me to go see a movie on opening weekend - just get aggravated.

I loved this movie - I haven't laughed this much at the theater in a long time. I enjoyed all the characters & thought each of them had really great lines (Candice Bergen really had me cracking up) - I usually don't care for Andy Garcia but he was perfect in this. I enjoyed all the romantic relationships & the complications that arise when you are an older couple. Just because someone is older doesn't mean they don't have the same feelings they did when they were younger - glad movies are being made that don't just portray older women as asexual grandmas. I don't think this just appeals to an older audience because my 22 year old daughter enjoyed it as much as I did. I just have to say I cannot believe how gorgeous Don Johnson still is - that man is unbelievable! A

Not true - my daughter & her friends are in college & loved it - I think all ages are going to see this now.

Was watching Mindhunter on Netflix last weekend & was pleasantly surprised that the director was David Fincher. Didn't know he was involved with this series.

Love Jeff but this is so true - Me & my husband laugh watching him because he talks like he has no teeth in his mouth yet has a full set - so weird.

Don't feel bad Dar - every time I see it I think it's Lady Bird Johnson too.
