I just saw a TV spot that included
which were nice cameos in the film.
I'm glad I didnt see any marketing before watching the film. Quite pleased with myself that I had not seen even one second of footage, advertising, trailers etc. - same for HTTYD3. It is so much better watching movies that way!
Got offered a job today and I start tomorrow. I haven't worked since September and not been at work full time since June last year... can't wait to get back to work.
not time travel necessarily but it was pretty obviously a different version of Emmet or maybe his Brother or something since both characters are voiced by Chris Pratt... i just assumed they are the same character as soon as he showed up in the movie. accentuated even more so by the character seeming to play chris pratts raptor trainer from jurassic park.
Lion King is supposedly a loose adaptation of Hamlet though right? And I'm thinking whatever japanese movie you're on about, was probably made after Shakespeare was around..
Seems like if a December release works once, the studio sticks with it.
(Star wars, Jumanji, avatar; many others)
Maybe Dec 2022? Not sure how long the first film took to make.
Doubt they choose Dec 21 with avatar being there.
Yeah some of it is noticeably weaker. I was thinking about the movie after seeing it and realised I didn't even know what the villain was called.
Apparently the original script had Drago return and have a redemption arc. I think they should have done that.
But for me the second half of the film and especially ending is just magic.
Wow, I forgot that was 4 years ago.
Was gonna say Alita but I'm sure Futurist would have a snide remark about how being a book adaptation is identical to lion king remake
Aladdin is a cash grab but Lion King is not?
If anything its the other way around. Aladdin is at least taking risks... Lion King takes no risks is just shot for shot remake. Laziest project in Disney history.
