Everyone claims they "heard it". Probably the same as people claiming they spotted the Darth Vader shadow over Anakin in TPM, even though it was just a poster shot. Imma rewatching it tomorrow, will decide for myself Won't get an update till weekend figures come in tomorrow/monday. It is not going to beat Avatar, it would need to make £13M more which ain't gonna happen. Especially now that SW has released.

I was serving someone today, she asked me for a SW ticket. I asked her if she would like anything to eat or drink and showed her this limited edition star wars popcorn combo that we're selling. She looked at it and said, "Hmm. No, no thank you, just the ticket." Then i waved my hand at her and said, "You want to buy the Star Wars combo...". and then she repeated, "I want to buy the Star Wars combo..." and she fucking bought it lmao.

where does mmxxl rank in your top films of the year? I would've been going nuts over that making tons too, such a great, positive movie compared to this cynical design-by-committee piece-o-junk.

Our average spend per ticket is $2.5, today is more like $4.5 which is fantastic for us. To put that in context, $2.5 is 17% of a standard adult evening ticket, $4.5 is 30%. I would assume the numbers would be roughly the same elsewhere, maybe Americans buy more food idk.
