  1. More specifically than the previous question, did anyone watch it in 3D? And does the 3D add to the experience?
  2. Really impressive numbers for Everest, if word-of-mouth is strong then it can do well next week too. Maybe it won't be as much of a disaster as I had previously thought.
  3. I'm that's my point. Cjohn is saying its fine for people who haven't seen the first one. I'm saying its not.
  4. Then why have I had people walking out of the movie complaining to me that the film doesn't make any sense?
  5. Yeah, I thought this aspect was very poor. It's virtually unwatchable to people who haven't seen the first one, which is naturally very limiting to both its own narrative, and the audience.
  6. That feeling when the only animated film you care about gets cancelled
  7. Damn, I can't even begin to imagine how dull TRUE LIES would have been with Matt Damon. Sequences such as the horse scene would be painfully awkward with another actor. Also, LAST ACTION HERO is ten times better than this
  8. Maybe you should watch it for yourself before proclaiming that it's "fucking garbage"? Just a thought.
  9. As it's my first year on the forums, this is my first time too. I gave up on the summer game after a month but I'm determined to see this one through... mainly because I actually care about some of the films coming out... excited
  10. Shameless self-promotion bump. It's 3 days until the original deadline and I have literally been sent one list so far... DAMNIT GUYS WHY DON'T YOU WANT TO LAUGH?

  12. I didn't like the first one, did just about like this one.
  13. Frozen grossed more, get over it. Minions still made well over a BILLION dollars in case you haven't noticed. It did great.
  14. This is something that crops up in a lot of Schwarzenegger movies, and it's one of the best things about the guy. He has done so many movies, utterly straight-faced, where he plays the average joe despite looking like a tank. His thick Austrian accent being totally overlooked as he gets American names like "Ben Richards", "Douglas Quaid", "Harry Tasker", "Ray Owens". Equally, he has done various projects which have a plot revolving around the reality of the big, superman-like Arnold character. His self-awareness is what makes him such a terrific performer in his films, and it's arguably when he's dialled back that he's at his weakest (even though he is perfectly capable of doing real nuance and explore a character).
  15. I haven't seen the movie yet but the film has a lot to live up to, given how terrific his books are. Trailer makes it look enjoyable enough though.
  16. Me, my parents, and the two women who sat in front of us who were there because of "how much they love Benedict Cumberbatch"
  17. given there's 0 explanation been given, my guess would be it's getting dumped. Regardless, I am intrigued by the movie. I thought Fifth Estate was great.
  18. Not sure what the point of your comment is. You're passing Legend off as if it is some sort of tiny movie... Legend's opening in the UK is equivalent to about $65M if it was in USA. Nothing to be sneered at...
  19. Loool $100 for that? So you have to watch the movie 10x in order for it to be worth it? And you can't even use it more than once a day...
