  1. They are utterly mindless, just throwaway rubbish. I don't like action films at the best of times but I especially don't like the Bourne films.
  2. Sorry, I was searching for Bourne gifs and it was hard to tell what was from what. I searched the quote from that gif though and it seems to be from Ultimatum? I have actually seen all three.. I think.. they are all a blur. Went in one ear, out the other. I think I've seen Bourne Supremacy three times actually, still can't remember what it's about. 24 more films to come, only 2 are 2014 fortunately. I agree there are too many but I guess they are simply closer in people's minds. It's easier to rank a recent film above an older film that you haven't seen in a few years. Muppets got 6 votes, it was popular
  3. Kind of a hard category to predict, probably the hardest one, since we don't even know which films will have a song, let alone a good enough one to win the Oscar. I don't see how See You Again would win though tbh, but as said above they have given the award to popular songs in the past few years.
  4. I think, deep down in your heart, you know where they are. At the end of this, I'll list more films below the #100 mark briefly and you'll be able to see their position.
  5. #25 52.16% Director: Paul Greengrass Written by: Scott Z. Burns, Tony Gilroy, George Nolfi Yes, Jason Bourne does make it on to the best of the century. The Ultimatum to the highly-acclaimed spy trilogy sneaks its way up to #25. RT Consensus: "An intelligent, finely tuned non-stop thrill ride. Another strong performance from Matt Damon and sharp camerawork from Paul Greengrass make this the finest installment of the Bourne trilogy."
  6. Who are, in your opinions, the worst popular modern actors? I'm not talking about actors who everyone knows are the worst actors ever, I mean the ones who win awards or star in lots of big films and have a lot of fans, but who you think are terrible. Some from me: Vin Diesel Orloondo Bland Angelina Jolie Sienna Miller Seth Rogen Guy Pearce Zoe Saldana Anne Hathaway Liam Hemsworth Chris Hemsworth Ikea Knightley Halle Berry
  7. #26 51.22% Director: Spike Jonze Written by: Spike Jonze The rather unique Spike Jonze brings his soothing sci-fi romance to our list. Her uploads itself to the 100 at #26. RT Consensus: "Sweet, soulful, and smart, Spike Jonze's Her uses its just-barely-sci fi scenario to impart wryly funny wisdom about the state of modern human relationships."
  8. Brokeback Mountain is one of the best films I've ever seen.
  9. It's a rare subject where if you don't know much, you really don't know anything. We can laugh at the predictions or statements that some of us make on here, but try having the same arguments with your family or your friends, or even other movie lovers but who aren't too into BO, and you can't even have a conversation.
  10. Can someone explain why Home hasn't dropped this week from last week?
  11. Not the worst sequel ever, not by a mile, but given how brilliant the first film was, Temple of Doom was a real letdown and a film that almost seemed like it didn't understand Raiders.
  12. #27 49.08% Director: Ang Lee Written by: Larry McMurty, Diana Ossana Despite only being 10 years old, Ang Lee's titanic film about two lovers is already considered by many to be a modern classic. The final Lee film on our list, Brokeback Mountain rides in to spot #27 of the century. RT Consensus: "A beautiful, epic Western, Brokeback Mountain's love story is imbued with heartbreaking universality thanks to moving performances by Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal."
  13. Why do football fans care about football? None of it affects them. If someone moves teams, and gets sold for a bazillion dollars, the fans don't see any of the money. Why do petrolheads care about fast cars? They'll probably never drive a Lamborghini, so why bother reading about Lamborghinis? Football is simply more popular than box office; that doesn't make it any more worthy of your attention. For a small number of people, box office is fascinating and fun. Me personally, I'm interested in the film industry as a whole, and I've always liked statistics. Following box office is interesting to me, and comparing the trends, writing spreadsheets, seeing how accurate I can predict, is fun.
  14. #28 48.82% Director: Hayao Miyazaki Written by: Hayao Miyazaki Miyazaki has recently completed his final film, but it's this one that remains Studio Ghibli's trademark picture. Spirited Away blends into our list at #28. RT Consensus: "A dazzling, enchanting, and gorgeously drawn fairy tale that will leave viewers a little more curious and fascinated by the world around them."
  15. #29 47.32% Director: Jonathan Glazer Written by: Walter Campbell, Jonathan Glazer Scarlett Johansson hasn't had much to say for her so far in our list. But the strange, creepy Under the Skin stalks its way up to #29. RT Consensus: "Its message may prove elusive for some, but with absorbing imagery and a mesmerizing performance from Scarlett Johansson, Under the Skin is a haunting viewing experience."
  16. an amazing, secretive, exotic place called Google Images.
  17. If you had put it at #1, it wouldn't have even gotten into the top 400.
  18. #30 45.36% Director: Steven Spielberg Written by: Jon Cohen, Scott Frank Our final Spielberg picture - and the last entry for The Biggest Movie Star In The World - is the iconic Minority Report, which locks on to #30. RT Consensus: "Thought-provoking and visceral, Steven Spielberg successfully combines high concept ideas and high octane action in this fast and febrile sci-fi thriller."
  19. #31 45.06% Director: David Lynch Written by: David Lynch For a while, it looked like this would place much higher, but still David Lynch makes his surreal mark on the top 100 with Mulholland Drive at 31. RT Consensus: "David Lynch's dreamlike and mysterious Mulholland Drive is a twisty neo-noir with an unconventional structure that features a mesmirizing performance from Naomi Watts as a woman on the dark fringes of Hollywood."
