  2. a fun little horror/teen movie. Though his friends seemed to buy into the idea of an evil car rather quickly and nonchalantly
  3. surprised they are going forward with this. Get ready for a big flop in every country except China. Even a giant increase in China is not guaranteed. See Kung Fu Panda 3
  4. i like this is getting made just to see everyone all pissed off and moaning about it
  5. has anyone bought a 4K player and 4K UHD Blu rays yet? How is the quality compared to regular Blu ray?
  6. Just noticed that Joan Allen must have been fired because some other guy is now playing the CIA Deputy Director
  7. uh why did Spectre drop almost 100m in worldwide gross on BOM?http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=bond24.htmit was in the 870m range a few days ago
  8. disagree. Cars 2 is not good but Cars 1 was a fine film and just as good as other Pixar films
  9. what is odd is that many people were saying the marketing was annoying and desperate or "trying to hard to be edgy"
  10. I think Sony will expand Sprctre again. They expanded Bad Teacher three times to get over 100m for instance Sony was dumb though for waiting until after thevDVD and Digital release
  11. I am sure if it comes that they will push it again I think Sony expanded Bad Teacher three times to get it over 100m
  12. due to the mixed reception of Spectre, I think Craig should definitely do one more movie to end on a higher note personally I enjoyed it much more than Quantum
  13. lo, none of these can be called break outs in any shape or form
  14. just realized this movie flat out flopped. Less than 100m on a 60m budget.

  16. No. It is normal to do when they come close to a milestone
  17. Force Awakens might not even be in my top ten in terms of box office surprises
  18. sure some people were being conservative in their predictions but in the end it making that much is not that surprising. Considering it is Star Wars coming back after a decade and it brought back the original cast. Movies like Deadpool, American Sniper and even Jurassic World I say are more shocking than Star Wars because nobody expected them to be close to the gigantic hits they were
  19. I remember seeing some people saying Avatar could go down Deadpool is far more surprising in any way than Force Awakens in terms of surprise at the box office
  20. Star Wars was not a surprise. Sure some people may not have predicted 900m but most people were expecting gigantic numbers and even if they thought lets say 500m they probably in the back of their mind thought it could even do more.
