    Yeah...frankly I don't think someone so young should be handling it if they weren't really old enough to remember that year or the story around each movie at that time.

    Since Hollywood needs some new franchise blood (they can't keep rebooting the same properties over and over forever), I'm rooting for this to succeed. But I doubt it will.

    Really hoping this can crack 100 mil. It'd be nice if we got more than the standard two'fer we get every year with dramas making it past the mark.

    I think Bumblebee is out. Have a feeling it will perform exactly like an unnecessary spinoff, so like 85 or 90 mil.

    You'll probably be right, but it's not like a character like Venom is guaranteed a 60mil+ opening, and with the right buzz A Star is Born could break 50 mil OW.

    Movie gods....itd be real nice if this could outgross or even outopen Venom. It's about time for a comic book movie to flop again. I mean, how long has it been? I guess you could count Justice League but even that made over 200 mil. I'm talking total bombage.

    I agree with all of that. Maybe I'm still just sour that Blade Runner didn't make more money. Also, I feel like The Nice Guys should've been a hit. Where was the word of mouth on that?
