  1. I'm going out of my way to tell people not to see this. There used to be a time when bad comic book movies completely flopped...that needs to happen again.
  2. I immediately think someone's an idiot when they peddle this kinda statement. Nobody's shoving anything, they're just talking about, oh you know...the most important things in our lives.
  3. Why is Fahrenheit tracking so low? Figured it could open to 10 mil or so given the last time he went after a president didn't it open to 20 mil? Obviously that was a long time ago, but...
  4. I don't think Bohemian Rhapsody makes it. Halloween is questionable too. I see it performing similar to The Predator.
  5. Your opinion and no it is not. Read the pundits, and with an 87 on Metacritic it's still way in.
  6. Or maybe the movie is just not very good. Guessing RT will update it but they're typically quicker about it.
  7. Yeah...frankly I don't think someone so young should be handling it if they weren't really old enough to remember that year or the story around each movie at that time.
  8. Since Hollywood needs some new franchise blood (they can't keep rebooting the same properties over and over forever), I'm rooting for this to succeed. But I doubt it will.
  9. Really hoping this can crack 100 mil. It'd be nice if we got more than the standard two'fer we get every year with dramas making it past the mark.
  10. I think Bumblebee is out. Have a feeling it will perform exactly like an unnecessary spinoff, so like 85 or 90 mil.
  11. Maybe, but more than a few people I know have commented on how shitty it looks. Anecdotal, but interesting.
  12. You'll probably be right, but it's not like a character like Venom is guaranteed a 60mil+ opening, and with the right buzz A Star is Born could break 50 mil OW.
  13. Movie gods....itd be real nice if this could outgross or even outopen Venom. It's about time for a comic book movie to flop again. I mean, how long has it been? I guess you could count Justice League but even that made over 200 mil. I'm talking total bombage.
  14. Hopefully. I love weird movies and thought both Lobster and Sacred Deer were unfunny and pretentious. He takes inaccessible to a new level.
  15. And it doesn't help when you have relatively intelligent celebrities like Joe Rogan entertaining these dumb-ass conspiracies.
  16. I don't think anyone is saying he's not great and he's not a part of great movies. He absolutely is all of those things.
  17. I agree with all of that. Maybe I'm still just sour that Blade Runner didn't make more money. Also, I feel like The Nice Guys should've been a hit. Where was the word of mouth on that?
