  1. Ruffalo too. Hiddleston has done surprisingly little. I forgot about Pratt. Don't really think of him yet as one of them.
  2. I don't blame him. Guy was in hell for years and now that he's out he's soaking it in and relaxing in between franchise movies that treat him like king. Indies and dramas are hard and draining.
  3. To be honest Renner and Scarjo probably have the best careers as far as quality roles outside of Marvel. Although it seems RDJ and Evans don't do much by choice.
  4. For a fantasy epic with Emily Blunt, Charlize Theron, and Chris Hemsworth, it's incredibly boring. And that's not another way for saying there's no action. There's plenty of action. It's just none of it is compelling. I missed 5-7 minutes in the bathroom and didn't care. Hemsworth is a charismatic guy who, outside of Marvel, can't seem to pick a good project ever.
  5. Tate Taylor is the main reason I can't get excited. This is something a Fincher or an Aronofsky should've done.
  6. This might sound melodramatic, but humanity will never reach its potential until people stop feeling the need to pick a team with everything. Down voting a movie you haven't seen is the definition of irrationality.
  7. Plot-wise I'm not sure Wright's version would've been that much different. However, stylistically it would've been very different. Parts of Ant-man looked a little amateurish visually.
  8. Saw this last night at an early screening. Maybe I wasn't in the right mindset for it but...not scary, not particularly involving because I didn't particularly care for any of the characters, but well-acted and well-crafted from a visual/editing standpoint. Just a really grisly movie that's too serious to be much fun as a slasher flick.
  9. There is no truth or possibility to it. It's just pathetic denial that so many people could've disliked a movie about their precious characters.
  10. You're over-thinking it. If people didn't like it THAT much it would've gotten even worse than a 2.4 multi. People forget that reviews were actually pretty good for it too. It's not a bad movie. It's just not as good as the first one.
  11. I think people overestimate any dislike from the GA with that movie. Yeah, they weren't over the moon about it like they were with the first movie, but that doesn't mean the overall reaction was bad.
  12. I don't suffer fools gladly, so it's taking every ounce of will power that I have not to go on an insulting rant against some unnamed participants in this conversation.
  13. I do agree that keeping them separate is dumb. I'm fearful that Marvel is headed that way too for some inexplicable reason.
  14. Ezra Miller is a better actor than Gustin. That's the one thing they've done right.
  15. Some of the rooting interests of certain folks here, you know who you are har har, resemble that of a person following a religion or blindly following a particular politician. If BvS was doing much better I wouldn't come around here trying to convince people it was actually doing poorly. Hell, even if I was a donk and felt that personally, I wouldn't do it.
  16. I don't think anyone has seriously called it a flop. It's a big disappointment though.
  17. I usually don't cry plant, but...
