Suggest that the space for deadpool 2 is much smaller, 270m total after 1.3b grosser is a disappointment maybe but I doubt there should be an hysteria

that drop is beyond awful, with solo's underperform, we can't blame solo for this.....I like deadpool 2 so much, feel like perhaps x-men franchise has their terrible legs in their gene.....

I don't see such needs, you'll see plenty of them online which I am totally agree with except for one, i.e Luke characterisation in TLJ, many fans are pissed off by Luke's character but I don't see that as a problem....

2b is still happening, but OS-Ch is collapsing especially JW is coming out next week, but China and USA seems holding well, and coincidentally, JW has latter release date in these two biggest territory.

I always thought SW and MCU are the biggest brand in the cinematic world, it seems now we have to reevaluate their drawing power. And, is spin off a necessity ? 60m is a hopeless figure...especially when JW2 is coming out in many countries next week

As far as I hate TLJ, I guess we will have to wait til Ep 9 to verify the brand damage. Solo has so many factor that against it, including recasting the iconic character, itself being a spin off, non-Christmas season release, lowest RT score for new-era SW....blaming TLJ for solo's disappointment could be an overstatement. Deadpool 2 number is pathetic, that 12m is even lower than its thursday's preview 18.6m X-men frontloadedness is striking back! Can't imagine if x-men is filmed like a horror film , like new mutant, overwhelming frontloadedness of a franchise in a frontloaded nature of genre....80% 2nd weekend drop!!
