IT insane pre-sale indicate that online trailer views means something, same goes to SING, massive number of trailer views on you tube, still people doubt it

I didn't watch that much of 1997's film so i don't think my list would be qualified but my best will always be Titanic no matter how much I'd watch! My personal top 3 of the year 1) Titanic 2) L.A confidential 3) Boogie night

If the grand budapest hotel can secure BD and BP although released in march and so too Mad Max in May, I can't see why Dunkirk miss out, with Dunkirk being more oscar-friendly

this is because nolan firm are largely aim for fan-boys community, his film are clever and cool-looking which fan boys most admire....

dunkirk is almost certain to pass interstellar's dom number.....but I doubt oscar buzz will further drive people into watching dunkirk. Using inception, that released in July too, being and oscar contender at the same time, didn't generate a single cent from oscar season in theater. Same may happen to dunkirk as it's already drop from theater. Speaking of oscar, dunkirk oscar buzz instantly drop after its opening, even WW has more oscar buzz,I don't think there is any backlash but WB seem try to tame its oscar buzz to avoid any potential backlash against dunkirk. They would "reserve" the oscar buzz to later so that it keep fresh memories in oscar season I supposed

i don't think compared WW2 to a movie that 1st premiered back in 1939 is realistic, as so much things has changed, it's totally a different social structure and background. If really want to compare with, a movie in china that released in 1970 could outdone GWTW as yearly admission at china cinema stood at 29.3b
