  3. Yeah, this weekend is going to be massive for A Quiet Place, Rampage will open pretty well, then we have Avengers! Another month bringing a calendar gross of $1 Billion on the way!
  4. In 4,000 theaters I could see a $9K PTA for $36M At higher and lower ends of estimate 3,900 - $35.1M 4,100 - $36.9M
  5. I'd guess Sgt. Stubby goes for 1,500 or less. With Borg vs McEnroe with 500-600 just out of wide territory
  6. I used both examples you had suggested already and thought it would be fun to compare to IT as well as Insidious: The Last Key. I didn't say that A Quiet Place would be frontloaded just that a total of $39.3 Million could be pretty likely with $42.5-50 million being the most likely with the latter statement not included in the post. I didn't say what my predictions were but maybe I should add that next time so confusion doesn't occur. ALSO, Happy Death Day was really frontloaded in its opening weekend with Friday being over twice the Sunday number. Split is better but that would put A Quiet Place at $86 Million which IS NOT happening
  7. Well, the comparison to Split and Happy Death Day brought up numbers that are not in the realm of possibility so they are not good comparisons proportionally to A Quiet Place's massive Thursday previews. It is a much better comparison because it brings us to a possible number ($39.3 Million)
  8. Blockers Following Game Night (2018) $8.4 Friday ($1.5 Thur) $10.5 Saturday $7.7 Sunday $26.6 Weekend Following Girls Trip (2017) $10.3 Friday ($1.5 Thur) $9.8 Saturday $7.4 Sunday $27.5 Weekend Following Daddy's Home 2 (2017) $10.8 Friday ($1.5 Thur) $11.5 Saturday $7.3 Sunday $29.6 Weekend FOR FUN Following Snatched (2017) $11.6 Friday ($1.5 Thur) $14.9 Saturday $18.6 Sunday $45.1 Weekend
  9. A Quiet Place Following IT (2017) $16.1 Friday ($4.3 Thur) $14.3 Saturday $8.9 Sunday $39.3 Weekend (Pretty Likely) FOR FUN! Following Insidious: The Last Key (2018) $27.4 Friday ($4.3 Thur) $23.7 Saturday $12.5 Sunday $63.6 Weekend Following Split (2017) $31.4 Friday ($4.3 Thur) $35.5 Saturday $19.1 Sunday $86 Weekend Following Get Out (2017) $25.9 Friday ($4.3 Thur) $30.3 Saturday $23.6 Sunday $79.8 Weekend Following Happy Death Day (2017) $50.1 Friday ($4.3 Thur) $40.3 Saturday $21.6 Sunday $112 Weekend

  14. Box Office Pro Predictions Deadpool 2 $100/$242 Show Dogs $8/$25 Book Club $6/$19 Changed Predix Acrimony $15.5 (+7%)/$37 (+6%) Blockers $14.5 (-19%)/$47 (-21%) Rampage $27 (+25%)/$65 (+31%) Truth or Dare $15 (-21%)/$30 (-23%) I think the opening is a bit low for Deadpool 2 as well as the total gross. Rampage increases heavily, maybe we are looking at $35/$85? who knows! Truth or Dare and Blockers are falling a fair amount and Acrimony sees a minor increase before wide release next weekend. Avengers: Infinity War is staying strong at $215/$538

  17. Its fine I'm not too big on 3D but its the only screening near me so I think I can stand it. I can't wait for the Isle of Dogs screening on 26th. I really hope Isle of Dogs breaks out to be honest, but it probably won't, not the most popular type of animation as well as a more niche feel.
  18. Ready Player One has an Unlimited Screening the same day, so the chances are pretty high I guess. I have been seeing billboards everywhere for it and Pacific Rim: Uprising
  19. When I was talking about quality I was saying it will have good word of mouth "I think it will go down as..." rather than "I think that...", I wasn't just talking about my actual opinion if you read the conversation back. So thanks for the reminder, but I'm good.
  20. I have seen it and it is absolutely fantastic. Audiences seem to agree with critic so far with 89% on Rotten Tomatoes. If it was a bad movie critics would have given it a bad review (and some have, which is their opinion) I think, so I totally disagree that they are scared of seeming intolerant. It's just an excellent Teen Romance/Comedy
  21. Movie Tickets 1. Avengers: Infinity War 18.1% 2. I Can Only Imagine 16.7% 3. Black Panther 13.7% 4. A Wrinkle In Time 11.3% 5. Tomb Raider 11.2%
  22. I saw Love, Simon at a secret screening (didn't know what it would be going in) but GOD DAMN what a sweet movie. I was smiling and laughing all the way through (mostly). Have to wait until 6th April to see it again in my country, but I am definitely seeing it again! 9/10
  23. I meant more in terms of quality when it comes to The Edge of Seventeen
