  6. more important thing for me is not resolutions but HDR and EXPANDED color !!!! to get 10bits per channel instead of 8bits is a BIG THING http://www.cnet.com/news/ultra-hd-4k-blu-ray-what-we-know/ "High Dynamic Range: 4KBD will have HDR in the form of metadata, with Dolby Vision and other HDR formats as options. HDR is really cool. Part of this is an expansion of the bit-depth possible with 4KBD." "10-bit: Both HDR and expanded color are possible, thanks to a higher bit-depth of 10, greater than current HD's 8-bit. At the very least, this means more steps of gradation (no banding, not that Blu-ray had much)." but I agree with this : "Sadly, most people won't care. Worse, most people won't know there's a difference. 4K is 4K to most people (and if you're reading this, I'm not counting you in the "most" group). That's a battle not likely to be won by an archaic physical media, no matter how shiny it's marketed as being. Think that's pessimistic? How many of your friends still watch DVDs?"
  7. I was JW two times already, and probably I will go again, but what is more important, I took my father and mother to see it, and they LOVE IT, I am sure they've been in cinema again after many many months..... and I saw plenty of kids in age 8-12 happy with JW M.
  8. after a very long time I watch movie 2 times at cinema yup I was again on JW last night..... it was nice to see a lot of people around even on second week here..... ohh man can't wait for MADNESS in december when SW7 opens yeahh
  9. after JW revord opening and record breaking views of both teasers, I think only SKY and quality of SW7 is the LIMIT ! and I am sure after next trailer if we will see Luke with lightsabre, this BOARD WILL EXPLODE and IMPLODE same time
  10. don't talk about new INDY that would too cool too super this year I can manage only SW7 info now :D
  11. oh I love pixar as former LUCASFILM division, and I am working in CG well thanx for asking ! work, kids and trying to manage dolbyatmos at home plus can't wait for SW7 fuuuuuuuuuu Marek
  12. anybody is going to make HATE PIXAR club ? :) kidding love them
  13. but I am HAPPY HAPPY to be here during another AMAZING BOX OFFICE RUN !! congrats to Box Office and JURASSIC WORLD can't wait what kind of magic will Star Wars 7 bring this december
  14. any update on All-time top 20 in China ? is AOU in TOP 5? thanx, Marek
  15. not that much more ? for real ? production budget is listed as 250 mil. even if advertising and all other expenses are 100-150mil... they will get at least 150-200 mil. and that's not counting DVD+Blu-ray, TV rights, etc... clearly another 200-300 mil, and of course "TOYS".... so again ? not that much above budget ?
  16. well I am bit more optimistic : OS - 850 without China China - 320+ (better then Transformers..) DOM - this will do at least 500-550mil ! that's the bottom, considering how much EP1-3 did adjusted to inflation, plus this will have 3D and IMAX so 850+320+550 = 1720mil. ! Marek
  17. it's very hard to tell right now, we have to wait at least for next weekend to see.... some countries had 2-3 times or more compare to first avengers... so let's wait and see
  18. but AOF had an average 44% more $ in each country,.......so did you counted that too ?
