I'm just throwing it out there but I thought it was clear that personal attacks on users wouldn't be tolerated and yet I see one user continue calling people trolls who've done nothing but express their opinion on the movie and discuss the numbers.

What have I said? Please enlighten me. Are you offended because I didn't like it? Or because I said it wasn't risky? Those are my opinions and I'm entitled to have them. Just like everyone else is. I've done nothing but express my opinion and use numbers that have been presented. You've gone around personally attacking people because they don't agree with you. Mods I'm pretty sure you said that personal attacks wouldn't be allowed.

Forgot about that but yes that will also hurt it big time. It needs to make its money early in the day which isn't good because the price of a matinee isn't the same as a regular ticket price. My friend's theater is looking at a 75% drop for the overall weekend which is just brutal.

A 70% drop is no where near normal even for a big movie opening. It's one of the worst drops ever.

The Final Four and Wrestle Mania will play a significant role in how this movie does on Saturday and Sunday. Don't be surprised if this movies makes $15M on Friday and then misses out on $50M for the weekend.

We aren't going to get an official estimate. According to my sources, BvS didn't make a penny on Friday. All the theaters were empty. Empty I tell you!

What if this was all one big joke and the actual numbers come in at $19M. We've spent 40+ pages talking about how the film has crumbled...I don't think we could actually handle this being one big joke.

The Green Lantern was perfect. It gave us the lovely couple that is Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. It also allowed Ryan Reynolds to reprise his role as Deadpool and give us the Deadpool movie we all deserve. I call it a win-win situation...oh we are talking about DC/WB. Lose-lose situation for them.

It's been dropping significantly in a lot of the bigger markets across Europe and Asia. Latin America has been the only region with much more friendly drops.

They're so afraid of the Green Lantern that they have no idea who is going to play the Green Lantern or how to reintroduce him to the GA. Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have left their mark on WB.

Its budget is going to be a lot higher than Deadpool's. And even if it makes $1B, it still won't be as profitable. Plus the hype for Rouge one isn't the same as Star Wars VII.

They spent $200M on the Green Lantern. Anything is possible when it comes to WB.
