You just said opened a movie, not opened over 30. Those are all solid openings and most of them adjust into the standard Denzel opening range. Why you hating on Denzel anyway. He's a good man and our greatest actor. I don't like this disrespect.

Arnold also worked with much better directors. No offense to the San Andreas/Skyscraper dude but he is no Cameron/Verhoeven/McTiernen/etc.

Watched a couple of Ang Lee joints tonight. Sense and Sensibility; it's great! Hugh Laurie was my MVP cause he cracked me up nearly every time he popped up on screen but gotta give credit to Emma Thompson. She's stupid talented. Lovely landscapes too. Eat Drink Man Woman. Old Chu you sly dog.

He can battle it out with Glenn Howerton as Adam Warlock.

Booked my first batch of tickets for the NZIFF: Shoplifters and Madeline's Madeline on 23rd of July. Searching on the 24th. Leave No Trace (with a Debra Granik Q&A!) and American Animals on the 27th. Burning on the 28th. Might try catch a couple of more but this seems like a good start. Need to squeeze in The Sequelizer as well.

Cruise would definitely beat The Rock in a one-on-one fight.

I didn't wanna open that can of worms since it is debatable whether or not Cruise is a real human, or rather just some kind of alien stunt robot.

I think Skyscraper might have done a little better if they'd actually used a real building. I don't think it's a huge factor but the titular skyscraper is very silly looking (from what I've seen of the marketing, anyway). Ghost Protocol does the skyscraper shenanigans right. Real building, real stunts, real good.
