I dunno, I think this could work well enough. If they go full Mission Impossible with the super-crazy set pieces it could be pretty fun. Throw in some of the supporting Marvel characters and it'll be a nice addition to the universe. Might be hard to convince ScarJo to go full Cruise and put her life on the line but maybe she'll commit just to make everyone feel good about the movie or whatever.

I've actually called the police in regard to Top Gun 2. The red card isn't enough of a punishment given what they've done there (in casting Teller instead of Set It Up star Glen Powell). I didn't feel good about it but it's part of the job.

I think there's a big difference between judging a sport (where there are set rules and guidelines) and critiquing films, which are always gonna fall to subjective tastes and preferences. There's no such thing as objectivity in art.

Movie reviews are inherently personal. Critics aren't robots; it's hard to critically evaluate a movie without having actual, personal opinions on the subject.

People are allowed to dislike the movie my dude.

Yeah, I think there just wasn't enough screen capacity. Previews seemed fairly strong (~170k) so hopefully it's got enough gas in the tank to at least match the first. Good hold for I2 tho.
