  1. The Bone Collector is pretty boring. Denzel is actually really great in it but the film flounders whenever he's not on the screen, which is most of the movie since he's stuck in a bed and he was sharing lead duties with Jolie (who's real wooden). Has some neat transitions though. I do like how the poster doesn't indicate that he's quadripleguc at all. That was all I'd seen of it going in so the 'boom paralysed' smash cut was a bit of an oh shit moment.
  2. Clicking the link takes you to the weekend report for whatever reason, so here's the actual weekly numbers (tagged cause the formatting sucks):
  3. Remember the Titans is nice. Bit cheesy, but cheese isn't all that bad.
  4. They had a choice between ones of the world's greatest actors, hot off the world's most beloved film, and some weirdo who beat up some drums. And they went with drum boy. I hate it.
  5. @Jake Gittes look at what you almost made me do
  6. Gotta start somewhere I might get round to it, just for curiosities sake. Gonna do Deja Vu tomorrow.
  7. John Q. is reeeallly heavy-handed and a bit schlocky but shit, Denzel sells it. It's solid.
  8. Much Ado About Nothing is FUN. I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Denzel being ludicrously charismatic, Kenny B sailing the river of ham, Emma Thompson, Keanu trying his best, whatever Keaton was doing, that Doyle score; lots to love. Definitely my favourite Branagh joint. That scene with the boys on the horses has to be up there as one of the best character introductions ever.
  9. That's only counting the ones I've seen this year. Now that I think about it though, I can't remember if I've seen Deja Vu or not. I don't think I have. On the list it goes 🤔
  10. The year so far: Training Day Malcolm X Crimson Tide Fences Roman J. Israel, Esq. Philadelphia The Manchurian Candidate American Gangster Inside Man Man on Fire The Equalizer Glory The Book of Eli
  11. He wasn't banned for being arrogant and grouchy, he was banned for violating the rules we have at this forum. I know you're very brave and can handle EC insulting other people but the fact is was that he was making the forum an unpleasant place for a lot of our users, and it's not fair to ignore that just because he gave us some early numbers.

  13. Crimson Tide is extremely good as shit. Submarines gotta be in the top ten best plot devices. Terrific stuff, especially THAT CAST.
  14. Big Wednesday for I2 by the looks of it. 330k on top of the 4-day for 2.12m total. School holidays just started I think, so that should help legs.
