  1. I don’t know, personally I think it depends. If it’s just a joke or a cameo or short appearance or even a somewhat major role it’s fine. For example in my film, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Bullseye is a secondary antagonist as well as a bunch of other secondary Marvel characters. If you want to set up the character for a bigger universe role then I’d say claim the rights just in case. It’s only a problem or problematic if the character is a current character.
  2. @cayommagazine Like it’s brethren, Can You Imagine, My Peoples and the upcoming Medusa, rumors say Endless Animation is planning on resurrecting another animated film with Laika dubbed The Shadow King being the second film in their three picture deal, with A Fool’s Errand in Y4, and the upcoming The Grim Movie Of Billy and Mandy in Y7. Henry Selick will return to the fray of his passion project to write and direct the film. The plot remains largely the same as the original: “Hap Dagger, a nine-year-old orphan, hides his fantastically weird hands from a cruel world. But when a Living Shadow Girl named Macy (Brooklyn Prince) teaches him to make amazing hand shadows that come alive, his hands become incredible weapons in a shadow war against ravenous monsters who could destroy Hap’s brother and all of New York.” Although Hap hasn’t been cast an impressive crew is ensembled with Sunny Suljic, Benedict Cumberbatch, Richard Ayoade, Jack DeSena and Danielle Bisutti. The film is targeting a potential Y5 release but nothing is set in stone.
  3. I may also try to get both Gil’s All Fright Diner and a surprise and if you’re lucky another Laika movie that based on a project from the dead. I can also crap out God of War 3.
  4. A Pokémon main series movie, Pikachu has a good shot at $1B WW and is likely the best thing non Disney Shrek V and Mario are also longshots.
  5. Might pull a @Spagspiria and write Phoenix within the span of the last three days.
  6. @Xillix please move Up The Butt to November 24th, cause Thanksgiving is the perfect time to take your family to a bad horror movie with Asa Akira as the star.
  7. Anyone know what’s wrong with the forum today?
  8. @cayommagazine Inspired by the success of Gold Cresent Pictures’ American Dragon franchise, Endless Entertainment is in active development on a series of films of another Disney Channel animated series: Star vs The Forces Of Evil with creator Daron Nefcy (The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl) in charge as a producer for the films. Endless has adapted TV shows/movies in the past for films (Kim Possible, Miraculous Ladybug, High School Musical (which was a co production with Blankments Productions)). Although they’re plans to expand the High School Musical universe, both Kim Possible and Miraculous weren’t so lucky as Endless is considered selling the former and the latter may be rebooted as talks for a crossover have failed. The Nickelodeon Cinematic Universe has also been shaky as rumors arise that the idea may be scrapped altogether. Like American Dragon, the series will combine computer animation and live action. There’s apparently a game plan for it in motion as the films will aim for a hard PG but the finale may reach PG-13. The films will also be inspired by the series. Endless is courting Zach Galifankisis as Ludo who will be motion capture animated in the film and reports say the film will be fasttracked for Y7 as a part of Endless’ big year alongside Pigeon 2 and Bionicle.
  9. If by everything you mean the 7 theatrical Spider-Man movies and Venom then yes.
  10. I don’t want a Your Name remake. It shouldn’t happen. Period. I do think The Amazing Spider-Man is the third best Spider-Man movie though.
  11. And we haven’t gotten started, Imagine how bad the upcoming CBM, IX and the small chance of PikaPika we get a wave of fanboys weekend threads.
