@Macleod Aquakiss was great! C'mon, the whole premise of the movie is silly so it fit right there and also lets not forget that Aquaman controlled the seas at that point so debris wouldn't hit them during Aquakiss cause he controlled everything. It's a movie where the king arrives riding on a Kraken and then sending giant sharks to eat aquaships. Aquakiss fits in perfectly. @boyamama Oh thank you! It was so fast so I mixed up the images.

I'm very interested in demo breakdown for Aquaman cause ladies in my auditorium really loved it and made about 50% or more of the audience. perhaps that's why MPR is suffering, women waiting for Aquaman? It really has it all - beautiful strong badass women, hot badass men, romance, family, action, exotic locations, Aquaglamor.

I've noticed that when movies that don't target women as primary audience become adopted by women, they tend to develop long legs. POTC, LOTR, Gladiator, Avatar. I found old articles that Gladiator's late run was mostly fueled by women. so it's really case to case basis. They extremly frontload movies that target them primarily but provide legs to movies for men that have some ingredients that appeal to them (hot actors, romance, etc). exception is, of course, Titanic that targeted women as primary audience and had the longest legs in history.

this is how it starts: over-predicted movie opens lower than over-predicted on its OD cue: people are doing shopping cue: holidays fall on unfavorable days cue: wait for legs cue: wordplay on movie title with words Bomb/Flop/Crumble cue: under Solo clubs Rinse, repeat next week or months depending when the next over-predicted movie comes out and doesn't deliver in the first 24 hours.

Fuck naysayers but this has a lot to love. Will, Naomi and Jafar guy looks great! Aladdin is the only weak link but he was never the star in the cartoon anyway, so that's authentic. Naomi is super charming and pretty. H8rz to the left.
