  1. There were supposed to be two more Justice League movies after the first one, and JL2 was supposed to end on a big cliffhanger. Back on topic, at this point, I think the chances of this movie getting a part two could go either way.
  2. It wasn’t planned to be two parts. It was supposed to be the third part of a five part story.
  3. In terms of the past few years, they’ve usually avoided putting out official trailers for their movies until half a year from release. They didn’t even put out a trailer for GvK until two months before it was released.
  4. As others have pointed out, this movie is produced by Legendary. WB are just the distributors. Considering the recent talks that Legendary might be selling, it’s possible that if a sequel ever gets made, it won’t even be distributed by WB.
  5. I don’t see why they don’t lift the review embargo now. Why not let word of mouth spread as early as possible?
  6. I know about the deal Sony made with Disney, but that isn’t supposed to take effect until after their deal with Netflix runs its course, is it?
  7. I’m sure the movie will be good, but those reactions to just 10 minutes of footage seem excessive.
  8. I mean, I never felt like this was really a “must-see event” myself. Out of all the Phase 4 Marvel movies, it was probably the one I was the least curious about. I don’t know how many other people felt that way, though.
  9. We don’t know at this point if there is a game plan for this franchise, and we likely won’t know until the Flash movie is released at the earliest. If you ask me, I would much rather WB just scrap everything connected to this universe and only do standalone film series from here on out, but I guess they don’t want to lose Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa.
  10. As much as I understand the anger that people have towards Rowling, threatening to leak her film on Twitter seems a little petty.
  11. Certain people have been asking for an Ayer Cut ever since the Snyder Cut was officially announced last year. It doesn’t seem very likely to happen.
  12. That settles it: this is going to be a hybrid release. Considering the renewed fears regarding COVID, that’s not surprising.
  13. It really seemed like Shyamalan was making a comeback for a brief period, but this looks like he’s back to his old ways.
  14. If BW doesn’t end up crossing $200 million domestically, that would make it the first MCU movie since 2015 that failed to do so. Anyway, F9 seems to be holding reasonably well. It has a big drop from its predecessor, but at least part of that is likely because the world hasn’t fully recovered from COVID yet. It’ll be interesting to see how the remainder of the year turns out, and if things will be back to normal by 2022.
  15. I don’t think the Olympics will make much of a difference. The first movie opened during the Olympics too.
  16. Does anyone have any idea when the review embargo will drop? It might be a good idea for WB to let it drop early.
  17. Sony was willing to release a trailer for FFH before EG was even released, so I find it interesting how they’re showing so much restraint in putting out the trailer for this. Maybe that’s part of the new deal they worked out with Marvel? But what could they possibly be waiting for at this point?
