  1. Didn’t Chris Terrio state before BvS was even released that JL would be a comparatively lighter film?
  2. True, but that initial teaser showed very little of the film, and had a fairly generic voice over by Tom Hardy. The trailer for this movie showed us Sonic and Robotnik, and had plenty of action. I can’t imagine what the next trailer could possibly show that would manage to win people over.
  3. Venom had well received trailers, though. The trailer with the face reveal managed to get over a million likes. This movie doesn’t have that going for it.
  4. All this talk about whether or not Endgame will dethrone Avatar, and here I am considering Titanic to have had the most impressive run of any of James Cameron’s movies.
  5. I can’t help but wonder just how much different the world of entertainment would’ve been if George Miller’s Justice League film managed to get made. Would the film have been a hit? Would it have been a huge mess? How would it have affected the MCU in either case?
  6. I’m not trolling, I’m serious. I have no clue what point there is in making more Batman movies. Like Star Wars, Batman needs to take a break.
  7. Well, I can’t exactly say that I care, and I used to be a hardcore Bat-fan. Besides, I’ve said it before, but people weren’t all that hyped for BvS. I was, but other people couldn’t seem to care less, and pretty much every geek website was skeptical about it pretty much from day one. You didn’t have people going crazy with anticipation for the trailer for the film like you did with Infinity War and Endgame, and the opening weekend numbers were pretty underwhelming.
  8. I’m absolutely serious. What appeal does the character still have at this point? He’s been milked for all he’s worth. Is there anything of value left?
  9. I kind of wonder why TDK didn’t have a higher OW. It’s Friday gross was $67 million, so it’s weird that it didn’t finish with something higher than $158 million.
  10. Phoenix didn’t have a lawsuit filed against him, but the lawsuit against Affleck did allege that he and Phoenix locked a woman out of her hotel room so they could use it for sex. That could potentially land him in some pretty hot water.
  11. I doubt that on both counts. Joker is a wildcard, but it doesn’t seem like it’ll have much of a draw overseas. Also, I get the impression that Joaquin Phoenix’s association with Casey Affleck will probably bite him in the ass as the film gets closer to release, which could impact its performance. As for It Chapter 2, the first film already adapted the most iconic parts of the book, and the second film won’t be able to get by in the Stranger Things comparisons.
