  1. I guess that rumor of them going for a bunch of 12 year old Ghostbusters wasn’t true after all.
  2. Apparently, Zack Snyder’s comments about Batman killing didn’t quite have the context that people thought.
  3. Why are people still going after Zack Snyder? The guy’s been through some difficult times for the past two years.
  4. It’s now at 93% with 67 reviews. Come on, damn it. Maintain your momentum!
  5. That wouldn’t be divisive by any means, but it would’ve really been something if this movie managed to stay in the 90s. I guess I just set my hopes up really high in the same way that I was disappointed when TDKR “only” managed to get a score in the high 80s.
  6. Mid 80s would feel somewhat disappointing to me. Even SMH managed to get a 92%, and I thought that movie was just decent. Also, as a side note, that critic who gave the movie a 1/4 is also on Metacritic, so that’s going to drag down the score there as well.
  7. A top critic just gave the movie a 1/4. Jesus Christ. He hated it that much?
  8. That’s disappointing. That intro could’ve been DC’s answer to the Marvel intro.
  9. Well, the review did say that the movie is supposedly repetitive. Still, I’ll be on the lookout for Matthew Lickona’s review, because for him, a 2/5 is a positive rating.
  10. I guess if you had to be absolutely fair, 17 is legal in New York, which is apparently where Bishop54 lives... Anyway, I don’t like where this thread is going, so I think I’ll be leaving.
  11. I mean, I got over Power Rangers when I was seven, but the show does have action and a sense of danger that you don’t see in a Nick Jr. show. Plus, this may seem silly now, but Power Rangers was actually fairly controversial with parents back in the day.
  12. Power Rangers definitely doesn’t aim for as young an audience as Dora. Besides, this looks pretty PG, but even that would make it much more “adult” than the show, which was aimed squarely at toddlers.
  13. Her being a teen would’ve worked if the movie was meant to be an off the walls insane action movie. Unfortunately, this looks like it might as well have been a made for TV film.
  14. People keep saying that, but I don’t see it. JL was the fifth film in the universe, and Snyder apparently had a planned story arc that would’ve spanned five films. They didn’t need to give every single member of the Justice League a solo movie beforehand. The MCU didn’t give Hawkeye or Black Widow solo movies. The problem was in the execution. It’s not like WW was hurt from having to fit into a pre-existing universe.
  15. That would be awesome, but something tells me that Endgame will take it.
  16. It should be noted that it still appears to be a positive review.
  17. It sure is taking a while for reviews to be posted to Rotten Tomatoes.
  18. All this talk about Grace Randolph being dumb (what else is new) and here I am thinking it’s pretty dumb how the Thursday “preview” screenings for this movie start at 4:00. You might as well just admit that the movie is a Thursday release if that’s the case.
