  1. The press tour with Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot is gonna be awkward, isn’t it?
  2. TWoW was basically a reintroduction to the world of Pandora, but now that we got that out of the way, it’s time to up the ante.
  3. In the case of Gal Gadot, I do understand disliking her on the count of her views, but it’s weird to me how people are saying that the two seconds we heard of her in the teaser is further evidence of what a terrible actress she is. A lot of them even straight up seem to be mocking her accent.
  4. He specifically said Oscorp doesn’t exist in that universe, and I don’t recall him suggesting that he met an alternate version of his son. Anyway, Kevin Feige made it clear that they had no intention of using villains from past Spider-Man movies before they decided on the multiverse angle. Feige seems to consider actors like Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina to be the definitive versions of their respective characters.
  5. Quite the dichotomy between YouTube and Twitter in terms of what they consider the worst thing about this. YouTube says it’s Rachel Zegler and Twitter says it’s Gal Gadot. They can’t please anyone, can they?
  6. I wouldn’t expect James Gunn’s Superman to outgross The Batman, but even assuming it becomes a billion dollar hit, I can’t imagine that’ll be enough to solve WBD’s financial problems.
  7. Does anyone find it a little weird that they went through the trouble of giving Red Hulk visible chest hair?
  8. A large part of why the company is in so much debt in the first place was because of the Discovery merger.
  9. Seems like going all in on streaming has bitten both WB and Paramount in the butt.
  10. The animation style’s actually growing on me. I’m glad they didn’t just take the obvious route and try to copy the Spider-Verse style.
  11. If the next saga is the Mutants Saga, I could see them going with Mr. Sinister as their big villain. The Fox movies seemed like they were trying to build him up.
  12. In terms of Marvel’s 2026 slate, my guess at this point is the following: -February: Blade (there’s no way it keeps that November date) -July: Spider-Man 4 November: Either Shang-Chi 2 or Doctor Strange 3
  13. There was a story about how Spielberg essentially waterboarded Susan Backlinie to get her to scream convincingly for the opening of Jaws.
  14. To be clear, the idea that Stanley Kubrick tormented Shelly Duvall was debunked pretty extensively, including by Duvall herself. Kubrick was indeed a control freak who had some shady things about him, but this notion that he put Duvall through hell on that set isn’t actually true.
  15. I thought I remembered hearing that Universal’s remaining rights to the Hulk lapsed last year on the 15th anniversary of the Edward Norton film. In any case, I don’t recall Marvel having any real problem advertising the Hulk in their past films.
  16. Assuming we don’t hear any extras come forward about being harassed or uncomfortable on set, then I don’t think it would be unreasonable to assume that certain bigwigs in Hollywood are trying to paint a particular narrative because they’re mad that Coppola made a movie outside the studio system. The trades were doing the same thing with American Horizon. To be clear though, I don’t think Coppola is some kind of saint. What he did to Victor Salva’s victim was pretty scummy, but I don’t see the trades bringing that up.
