  1. The 4 Avatar sequels combined will barely make 6 billion WW. Around ~1.5B for each (assuming they're all well received and the story is less generic than the first Avatar)
  2. ok I'll try any of these? Unsane Anna and the Apocalypse Mara A24's Slice Nic Cage's Mom and Dad? Unfriended 2 Colette Blindspotting The Sisters Brothers The Rider First Reformed Sorry To Bother You The Favourite
  3. are they in English? and did they all get theatrical releases?
  4. good list are any of these in your top 5: Leave No Trace, Hereditary, Tully, Widows, Ghost Stories or Revenge?
  5. make sure to drop by once Detective Pikachu hits a billion next year
  6. Leave No Trace was one of the best and most heartwarming movies of the year, shame it wasn't considered for any Oscar awards.
  7. should've changed it to over Wonder Woman worldwide but it's gonna come real close to Wonder Woman domestically (350M+ is likely) more than anyone else could've predicted
  8. Most of the predictions I saw for Mary Poppins Returns were in the 300M-350M range (on here and on reddit and BOP had it at 325M) and it's going to make about ~220M-240M by the end of its run so let's not act like missing its projections by 50%+ or something. it's not much worse than TLJ doing only 620M after its gigantic opening instead of the projected 750M-850M
  9. Wonder Woman 84's original date was December 2019.. but after Disney announced EP IX it moved to November and then later to June 2020. @Nova it would be pretty crazy to release Star Wars IX, Jumanji sequel and Wonder Woman 84 on the same weekend (along some other smaller releases) so it's kinda too late now
  10. Mary Poppins with the highest increase in the top 5 Jumanji legs in play?
  11. Netflix did not make Money Heist/La Casa De Papel. it was made by Spanish TV network Antena 3 and Netflix just acquired the licences to stream it globally months after it aired on local TV in Spain. but it's not a Netflix original by any means. It's one of the best shows of 2018/2017 though and Netflix played a huge role in increasing it's popularity but they still had nothing to do with its production (first 2 seasons at least, they might be working on the 3rd).
  12. this is by the same director who did insidious the last key which was pretty mediocre imo (other than a certain scene involving a suitcase ) so I don't expect much from this but the trailer was interesting and has like 8M views on youtube. BOP has it doing 13/32 and if the budget is as low as the last Insidious it won't flop.
  13. who would've thought that an inferior version of A Quiet Place would do so well on Netflix
  14. glad to see Mary Poppins Returns recovering after that disappointing opening, the movie was so delightful and the songs were really charming. Emily Blunt was perfect and she deserve more success.
  15. nice to see Mary Poppins doing good numbers after that mediocre opening Now let's see if Mary can go for $216M+ and become Disney's 4th biggest movie in the states this year
