    Just realised that I also had Sonic Rivals 2 on my PSP. Can't remember anything about it though. Tbf, I can't remember any of the games I played on my PSP except for a Ben 10 game and a Ratchet and Clank Size Matters (only reason I even remember this game is because I broke my PSP when playing it)

    Watching this in less than 4 hours. My expectations aren't high but I'm hoping it's Detective Pikachu quality at least (kinda fun but really forgettable).

    They should've just used this song for the movie instead of that awful song they got rn: Edit: The video just reminded me of all the really awesome levels in the game. I guess it's time I play the game again.

    I played a lot of Sonic Adventures 1 and 2 and Sonic Heroes on an emulator on my PC after I started to really love the character. I also played a lot of Sonic Colors on my Wii (still probably my favourite Sonic game). The last few 3d Sonic games really killed my excitement for anything Sonic related (Sonic Mania was fun too but it was made for more old school Sonic fans than me).

    Why does anyone even want to work with O. Russell tho? I get that it's an easy way to get an Oscar nomination for an acting category but he's such a piece of shit. I'm surprised he still has such a big career considering that he's literally sexually assaulted his niece and has abused many actors on set.

    Shadow and Sonic Unleashed were two of my most played games on my PS2. I even bought Sonic Unleashed again on the Wii and was my favourite game ever for a long time (until I played Super Mario Galaxy 2 which is still one of my favourites).

    I'm not a fan of Sonic for saying that the brand has gone downhill since Sonic Colors (which was a brilliant game)? You do realise that Sonic Lost World, Sonic Boom, Sonic Forces are all hated by almost every single Sonic fan (including me) and were big flops right? The only Sonic game that has gotten unanimous praise since Colours is Sonic Mania. Sonic Generations also seemed to get decent reception.

    I meant there's a pretty big improvement with his live action films after he does an animated film. Moonrise Kingdom and Budapest were a huge step up from his pre-Fantastic Mr Fox films, in terms of shot composition, and this looks like a step-up from those films. I think the freedom stop motion gives him makes much more precise with his framing and also allows his to be more creative with it which he then applies to his live action films.

    I think his framing gets a lot better every time he does an animated film.

    And that's why the increases are much higher relative to 2014 but still muted compared to the past few weeks.

    Feb 13 was on a Thursday in 2014 and surprisingly enough, all the films in top 10, except for Robocop (opened on Wednesday though I think), increased. @Arendelle Legion Tuesday increases for the same week in 2014 seem muted too. Edit: oh wait you already said that.

    This movie got some ardent fans on here. Like I'm watching this tommorow but this looks pretty average.

    I meant a score from one reviewer. You said one reviewer gave it a 50%. That's a 2.5/5 which is a negative score on RT.

    YouTube reviews really don't matter (I remember Godzilla KOTM having positive YouTube reviews). Critics choice (although still a pretty loose indicator) is a better indicator of where the RT score will land. A 42 means sub 50%. Not sure how much below but I don't see it go above 50% unless Sonic critics choice score goes up to 60/100 or higher. Detective Pikachu is at 66/100. Also a 50% score would count as negative on RT.

    A lot better than the last one but a spoiler heavy trailer imo. I guess I'll end up watching this in cinemas though.

    I think the backlash was geniunely deserved this year though. It was pretty mean spirited espescially considering that one of MPC's branches (who were also behind Dolittle and Sonic) closed down. Not surprised though considering that James Corden also did this:

    Probably not. I doubt they are going to even get to the human testing stage before the summer starts.
