  1. Keeping my fingers crossed it will stay above. IT will be even better if it were to cross Minions'5th weekend and jump 1 spot to 5th place, which would make it 11 weeks in the top 5 if that were to occur.
  2. TGM continues to do very well even though it's Saturday was softer than last week's increase. Still, the Canada holiday can make up for it and its actuals will be above the estimates. Plus, it's holiday tomorrow so don't be surprised with an inflated Monday. Still optimistic it can get to $700M DOM, but it's had a heck of a run no matter where it ends up at. Plus. it continues to have awesome holds internationally. TBP may make it to $90m DOM and might even have a chance of beating Halloween Kills. Who would have predicted that 2 months ago?! Elvis will not be on HBOMAX on August 8 because the HBO August Schedule does not include Elvis, so it will still have at least of August to hold very well. Plus, it's international grosses are having great late legs (only dropped sub-10% from last weekend with no new openings). $250M+ WW is locked.
  3. For sure. However, it has a 31-day Theatrical Window according to DL from last weekend.
  4. Speaking of HBOMax movies, Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson may have some leeway to extend the 45-day window due to lack of family movies for the rest of the summer and the whole month of September, which may still allow SP to gross $100m domestically.
  5. Plus, it lost some of its PLF screens to Pets already. While Bullet Train will still hurt it, it may still be at $10m for its 3rd weekend. DL confirmed that despite it opened below $50m last weekend, it will have a 31-day window before it goes to PVOD.
  6. If USA follows suit, Elvis will be available on HBOMAX on 08/29 and I checked the HBO Schedule for August and it doesn't have Elvis. On September 3, it has a blank spot opened between 8 and 10:40, and that's Elvis' runtime, so it's an assumption it will premiere on HBOMAX 3 weeks later than the 45-day traditional period for WB 2022 movies.
  7. Canada has a holiday this weekend which should juice up its Sunday and Monday grosses too.
  8. Probably helped by drive-ins with SP, but it's not like it opened huge! Still, that's an outstanding hold!!!!! $140M+ total is happening.
  9. Where's the source that it was approved for a China release.
  10. It's not 100% guarantee it will happen next week but Bullet Train may hurt TGM the week after next (not as bad as Thor) and when you say kill legs, can you specify please?
  11. Baz confirmed that Elvis won't go to HBO Max in August. It's not even on the HBO Schedule in AUGUST. Fantastic Beasts 2 and The Batman premiered on HBO channel right after HBOMAX.
  12. Baz confirmed last week that Elvis will premiere on HBO MAX rather in the fall than August 8, which helps its chances more.
