In all honesty, Salem's Lot would've done better in October 2023. I know more than a year from now, but certainly better than its current new release date.

You may be right if @Eric Odinson's theaters are any indication. Wouldn't shock me if TGM beats it next weekend if it's this low.

Go Elvis!!!!! TGM will hit $600m today. Even if it doesn't reach $700m, it's already been a huge success.

What makes you think it will only make $640M? It only needs a 4 multiplier to get there, which is achievable. It's not like Crawdads is this year's Gone Girl, Nope is this year's IT: Chapter 1, DC's Pets is this year's Secret Life of Pets. -
Could it be possible that Thor 4 will be #1 again that weekend? Slim chance, but not 100% out of the question.

Crawdads shouldn't have that much impact unless it opens like Gone Girl. I think Bullet Train will hurt it more.

Paws of Fury is nearly locked for sub-$10M while Crawdads is a big wild card, but gut is telling me it will open with $20M. -

Agreed. It's more like Eternals than Shang Chi. If it opens under $150M, which is quite possible, $400M is very slim.
