  1. So WandaVision and Mandalorian will keep the date but not Falcon and Winter Soldier. Surprised because it was supposed to be the first one.
  2. I was expecting $1mn atleast considering 5 days and National Day holiday. But then TENET opening in USA was around The New Mutants only, so guess that make sense too.
  3. Hopefully it hit 2mn admits atleast. I would have loved double of that however.
  4. UAE Weekend 17-19 September Mulan: 16,197 admits (-46.4%) / 130,219 cume ($260k 4 days weekend / $1.88mn cume) Unhinged: 12,066 ($200k 4 days weekend) TENET: 8,029 (-31.9%) / 123,003 ($145k 4 days weekend / $1.93mn) The New Mutants: 4,330 (-59.5%) / 18,450 ($65k 4 days weekend / $250k cume) Overall weekend 59,192 admits TENET good hold, guess it will continue like that for rest of year. $2.4mn range closing perhaps. Mulan quite decent as well. Guess $2.5mn full run.

  6. I think Japan are a lot bigger. In fact UK, France, Germany, Korea has done bigger numbers in recent days.
  7. If these 30% drops continue, will reach $16mn, which is bad but we were fearing under $10mn in first weekend.
  8. TENET now #1 today in Japan. From early looks I will say $1.9mn Sunday. $4.5mn 3 days Weekend. Possibly $7.5mn 5 days.

  11. IMO The Boys group has lost their arc and are nothing to plot anymore. In last season Hughie and Butcher had their motivations, with Mother Milk and Frenchie in support. Now Hughie arc is done for and Butcher is lost cause. The only thing get going is Homelander and in last episode he was a mess.
  12. Seems like there was some issue in Mimorin tracking yesterday. The sales for yesterday are around 100k, which will give a huge $1.8mn OD but that doesn't make sense with today's numbers which are $1.45mn Approx Saturday. So for now its Friday: $1mn Saturday: $1.45mn Sunday perhaps $1.5-1.75mn, that will give a weekend of $3.95-4.2mn
  13. Week 24 12-18 September 2020 Movies Incendies: Whatever happens in the story is a hard pill to swallow, but whatever happens in story is very hard hitting. 8/10. Prisoners: I wasn't entirely sold on Villeneuve in Incendies as I think the source material was too strong and it was not till the climax I liked the film so much. This one however, I was sold from the opening shot itself. I was so sorry for Alex, that poor kid. 8/10. Sicario: Not as great as the first two, but still pretty solid. 7/10. Northwood Pie: So it was finally available in India. On positive side of things, I liked Crispin and Sierra bit but the supporting cast was a big downer. I know it is a small project, and I hate to not like as much rest of you did. 3/10. TV The Umbrella Academy: This was praised by many of you here, and its about supes, so why not. I liked it, especially the first season. I like Five and Ben most, Klaus is fun too. Hated Vanya. This just felt like a bunch of X-men storylines, majorily Dark Phoenix. The whole time commission stuff is just messy and I think they should have ended things in S01. I didn't mind the S02 alot what I think it was not needed. I would have liked them to end the Apocalypse storyline in 1st season and then some world building in S02, which I guess they will do in S03, but that is going into Multiverse thing, not a fan of that because that hurts continuity more often than not and I am sucker for continuity. 7/10 for S01 and 6/10 for S02. The Boys S02E05: This was ugh. It is losing me. Let's just hope they land it well. It's mess after such a good S01. PS. I hope at least somebody watched Tumbbad.

PS. These numbers were updated on Thursday. I don't know if the week is Thur-Wed or normal in the country like other in Nordic region. Total admits may be bit faulty, but this is only numbers I could get.
  15. Damn. This is depressing. Just $1.2-1.25mn US, overall NA perhaps $1.4-1.5mn.
  16. Problem is its way too low. Just 2.5% occupancy in MTC 1 is awful.
  17. Roughly 20.7% occupancy for TENET. Dunkirk was 19.5% on Saturday OD. I think it's pretty nice.
  18. TENET 53k Approx on usual locations. Should be $950-1000k OD. Perhaps $4mn 3 days weekend.
  19. Looks like a very strong Friday for 800. Almost flat from last week. Guess another $20mn weekend, and $30-31mn week. $450mn seems locked.
  20. I had no idea, this did that well. Always thought it was a FLOP, but it would have earned a small profit. Thanks to strong Russia, Latin America and South East Asia and almost par the first Maleficent, selling more tickets. Guess will watch it today. thats a shame. With such weekend, I would have expected $515mn atleast.
