  1. Where is the press release. I will totally believe it. And that's what I said in above comment. When Warner announce billion dollar mark Boxoffice, BORReport, Gitesh, etc. will tweet.
  2. If any further proof as if this number is made up by Deadline, Mojo also updated the same number to their site. In doing so, they added the residue amount to Monday, which is what Maoyan's overestimated number were last night. https://www.boxofficemojo.com/release/rl1481278209/?ref_=bo_gr_rls The correct number for Monday and Tuesday as per official Chinese box office are $3,235,700.
  3. I consider myself a big Potter fan and was waiting for this day to come, but it hasn't yet. It will be official when, handles like Boxoffice, BORReport, Gitesh Pandya, etc. will tweet it. I am not believing Deadline who simply added Maoyan numbers to whatever they saw on Mojo. If the accounts I mentioned, also post same numbers I will believe them with grain of salt. BORReport followed my old ID, I would have directly asked him if he receive the mail or not. For now only @Shawn can clarify.
  4. Fantastic Beasts 1: 65 per cent of the Fantastic Beasts audience were over 25, 35 per cent were under 25, and just 18 per cent were under 18. 2nd one will be even older.
  5. Well, I didn't focus much on this. The film did ok in Europe, infact it barely dropped in Europe outside UK in real. Fantastic Beasts had 24.5mn admits in Europe, with UK around 7mn while Crimes of Grindelwald had 21.4mn, with UK around 4.4mn. Europe dropped 3.1mn out of which 2.6mn if from UK and 420k is from Italy. In gross, FB1 did $225mn ($157mn outside UK) while FB2 was just $195mn ($151mn outside UK). All the Potter sequels dropped big with each film, Potter 1 had 65mn admits while Deathly Hallows 1 is just 34mn but Potter films were consistent in gross as ticket rates were increasing and Exchange rates were improving.
  6. I just wish this just keep running and running and running and take down Wolf Warrior 2. This actually looks like a decent movie unlike Wolf Warrior 2 which was trash. Edit: Both Maoyan and Douban rating are going down. 😕
  7. So about $12mn. I think if it can open to 250k, can leg out big. 1mn is simple 4x legs, which seems small TBH. Dunkirk legged from 200k admits to 750k (3.75x).
  8. I would have believe if they had said $1.005 billion even but same number as Mojo. No thanks.
  9. This seens like the case of they read it on Deadline, twisted it a bit. And TBH they may be true but what I am not able to believe is the number quoted is the one which Mojo wrongfully have. Chances of which being accurate are lol. Besides Warner Bros hasn't officially mailed the benchmark as they will in case of such thing and handles like Box Office Report, Gitesh Pandya, etc will tweet. @Shawn can tell us if he received something officially.
  10. The total so far is $998mn. All of them are simply following Mojo glitch.
  11. Love You Forever T-6 Days Opening Day: ¥24.5mn Those are some big numbers. Final PS should be around ¥60mn easily. OD perhaps ¥150mn, depending on how many shows it get from 800.
  12. The Eight Hundred T-2 Days Friday: ¥8.60mn (+¥2.8mn) on 55k Shows Saturday: ¥3.9mn on 29k Shows Sunday: ¥2.1mn on 23k shows Total: ¥14.6mn Projections
  13. there was a website, which I guess someone shared here or on r/boxoffice which had made database of BFI weekend reports. Anyone remember. Its not 25th frame just to be clear.
  14. You are 100M high DOM and 100M short INT Though I will love 200M DOM, but if it is that good to have 200M DOM, INT will be 600.
  15. Another ¥50mn ($7.25mn) today. Will reach $30mn by Thursday. Expecting $100-110mn Opening Weekend including previews.
  16. As per Cinecho Endgame did $11.9mn plus, I don't know if it C$ or US$. So the above numbers are wrong https://www.cinoche.com/films/avengers-phase-finale/box-office
  17. The Eight Hundred ¥5.8mn presales for OD. The PS are definitely hit by previews and despite that are solid. Final PS should be ¥25mn Approx. OD should clear ¥125mn.
  18. If it gets 125k shows a day, capacity will be ¥625mn. I think this can manage 25% occupancy. ¥150mn OD. ¥500mn weekend ($72mn) Weekdays hold should be great, may be it remain almost flat from Friday throughout
