  1. Relatively speaking Incredibles 2 Day One pre-sales (including some early morning gross from East Cost) +25% JW:FK +85% Dory +70% Homecoming
  2. It's not right moment to judge as advance started late I assume. Tommorow will give better judgement. Also a factor to consider is Maoyan ain't that reliable as it was, especially with pre-sales.
  3. Spider-man: Far From Home 10 days Out Midnight: ¥292k (3091 shows) Friday: ¥1.05mn (24728 shows) Saturday: ¥385k (14k shows) Sunday: ¥310k (12k shows) Total: ¥2.037mn or $0.3mn Comps https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14veIao3B3dsFN11hxTEdpCgqkrdb9fq2PX3HiNH060s/edit?usp=drivesdk
  4. wasn't that expected. there was inflow of films getting big screen count since 3rd weekend till last weekend. That slowed a bit this weekend, and of course Father's day. Now it will start improving in its daily grosses over Infinity War. I had already speculated that, so still its not going to beat Avatar. Need re-release or simply mass fan events across world, all we need is 3mn more viewers, that's less than half of number of people watched its trailer in first 10 mins of launch.
  5. I just checked Incredibles 2 hourly numbers. It had huge pre-sales. +25% Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Two were as pre-sale loaded as each other.
  6. Men in Black International Friday: ₹4cr Saturday: ₹5cr Sunday: ₹3.9cr Total: ₹12.9cr / $1.9mn The film opened well, thanks to Hemsworth mostly but couldn't do well in evening shows itself due to poor wom. Ideally sort of start it had, would have gone for ₹19cr weekend but...
  7. Fun fact; And now Highest Grossing animation film in India is Incredibles 2. The Lion King will comfortably beat it.
  8. just wanna clarify that I didn't said that MDW thing. Shawn said that. I said a week after MDW. Of course that didn't happen, thanks to 3rd weekend overseas drop.
  9. I don't know, if you write it, as a song, But I sure sing it like Prince Ali.
  10. Ohh, I forget to mention. The Jungle Book added $69mn after that $20mn weekend.
  11. $29mn OS-C-J-K weekend compared to $47mn previous weekend, which was Holiday weekend in Muslim regions. So great hold of just 39% drop. Competitively The Jungle Book did $20mn in same set of markets. The cume is $340mn Approx without these three, and shall add another $100mn to $440mn. China gonna conclude at $54mn. Korea will go on to $55mn Approx as well while Japan at $100mn. This gives $650mn Overseas. A little better marketing, and this film was doing over BaTB.
  12. The Saturday numbers are just double, I think actuals will have less difference as the late releases, especially having positive nerd hype, usually are frontloaded, especially during pre-sales.
  13. Bharat Week 0: $0.97mn Week 1: $2.53mn 2nd Weekend: $0.3mn Total: $2.83mn Heading for $3.05mn full run.
  14. Aladdin Week 1: $2.4mn Week 2: $2.2mn Week 3: $1.85mn 4th Weekend: $1.05mn Approx Total: $7.5mn Heading for $9mn Approx full run. Excellent.
