I quite liked IW and have rewatched a few times but found endgame to be a dull slog of fan service and a bland, ugly 3rd act battle. It was whatever for 1 viewing but would never watch it again. I felt every minute of its run time.

All I can think of with The russos is that their first film post MCU they thought having a POV camera shot from Tom Hollands asshole was a good idea.

So is Shang Chi going to even get a China release? Or Black Widow or Eternals? Is China punishing Marvel or something?

Probably one of the most embarrassing things I've seen around s film in quite some time. Media seemed to be egging on and wanting violence to happen.

GOTG2 was awful to me. Drax went from an actual character to...whatever that was. What even happened to him taking everything literal? It vanished. He might as well have been a different character. The movie also does the typical sequel stuff where it feels the need to just do the same stuff as the first but this time do more of it. The repeated jokes like taser face that werent even funny once, Like 8 credits scenes. It was just more to excess without quality or reason. Chris Pratt's flat, bad acting that cant carry any dramatic scene. The need to follow up any dramatic scene with a joke right away. Man I hated that movie.

The last one was such a disappointment. No idea what happened there.

Gamers dont hold a candle to Star Wars and comic book fans.

This was it for me. You can play an unlikable character and still be funny and give a good performance. He wasnt unlikable because of the character, he was unlikable because he wasn't funny and the performance belongs to a golden raspberry nomination. He was bad at being bad, in simple terms.

All I want is the Spencer Mansion setting done well in a film or series.

Yeah these pictures are not flattering. This looks like bad in these stills. Hoping the trailer wins me over. I enjoyed the Milla movies as silly B movie cheesiness since the games are mostly that.

Taika delivered probably the worst performance in a film I have seen in the last couple years in this. Just pure cringe inducing and painfully unfunny. I was embarrassed every time he was on screen.

It really is an incredible film. I consider it a master class in directing. The way the suspense slowly builds and you feel so claustrophobic, stressed and panicked even before the creatures show up. And the moment they do was one of the most effective jump scares I've ever experienced. All the more puzzling is Neil Marshall's movie career afterwards never even coming close to The Descent.

Horror films are doing just fine. Conjuring 2, quiet place 2, old etc are not failures by any metric.

I just finished an entire rewatch of the MCU in 4K physical. They're very bland 4K discs. Hugely disappointing. The colors dont pop like they should in comparison to some other stuff. Funny enough I put on Planet Earth II after and that was incredible in 4K physical.

It's weird how little its success is talked about or celebrated.

I bet they saw the huge numbers for spidey trailer and decided to push it back behind it to get some of the after shock.

I havent been this genuinely happy and excited for a comic book film since those BVS and SS trailers. Hopefully this goes better than that did. 😂

Also all these villains have already had films. So you dont need to set them up much.
