Well, they are fantastic, IMO. Rarely do we see actual creativity and imagination in Hollywood's film posters' game. Or maybe I am not looking hard enough... The film's posters certainly illuminate the director's thematic/visual/ideological palette with mother!

Mary J. Blige in Dee Rees' Mudbound ? I keep hearing that her performance is the kind of transformative show of force that makes Academy members go nuts with praise and admiration...

I wonder whether it is digitally painted or done by hand. Either way, I love how they captured Jennifer's likeness (am I the only one who thinks there's a little bit of Emily Blunt in Jlaw's features?)... BTW, those posters are not official, right? Are they fanmade? The person who did that^^^ needs to work creating actual movie posters.

Is Valentine's Day on a Friday a big box office day historically? If Wonder Woman 2 opens on February 7, 2020, could it have a great second-weekend hold (even better than the first film's second weekend?) if V-Day (Friday, Feb. 14) and President's Day (Monday, Feb. 17) help buffer its week-2 drop? If it opens on Feb. 7, it would have 5 weeks for itself (until March 13, when a Pixar film and potentially Silver & Black open). I like IJack's idea of opening WW2 on Feb 14, but if it opens on the 7th, a majestically small week-2 drop could help it get more headlines, more clicks, and more hype (like the second-week hold for the first film helped it too). Yeah...I am more and more inclined to think that February 2020 would be a better date for WW2.

There you go. One week after Wonder Woman 2 , @iJackSparrow. If WB is smart, they will move the Gadot/Jenkins sequel away from the SW juggernaut ---unless they want Diana's film to have a monster second weekend drop and wobbly legs...

Whatever mainstream audiences think of this film, I can totally see it getting cult classic status. Seems like all the motifs, themes, and metaphors in the film will inspire a lot of debate (and clearly, art).... I am actually shocked that I am this excited about a Jlaw movie!!!

Absolutely!! I am soooo intrigued about the manner in which they adapt this storyline. Question: this is Fox, right? Have they talked about this film's standing in regard the other Fox X films? Will this be set in that same universe? Is this a standalone separate entity?

If this ends up being an awesome film and a big hit, it will indeed be exemplary. I love The New Mutants; I am sooo keeping my fingers crossed!

Has Pitt been mentioned? See, that (not Chastain) would be the kind of casting that would truly take me out of the film. Chastain is a relatively well-known working actress, but Brad Pitt is a mega star and a huge tabloid-friendly, gossip-fueled, icon-level name. Obviously, certain types of film are great platforms for stars as big as Pitt, but I don't feel that an It sequel would be...um...it.

While everyone talks about Chastain and Adams as possible adult Bevs, watch as Bryce Dallas Howard (who I assume is cheaper to get than Amy and Jess) snags the role...

I know that many people are turned off by Amy Schumer, but at least based on looks alone, I would have expected her to be part of the conversation when a Tonya Harding biofilm was discussed.
