  1. All three films did stunning numbers. DP's had an amazingly unexpected opening and a great run, and Wonder Woman had a multiplier that no superhero film will touch in a long time. Let's see It getting a 4.0 multi.
  2. I love that clip/thngie. Is that the first time it's been shown? OMG...I cannot wait to see this...it's been a titanic task to avoid spoilers, but I am good and ready for the film.
  3. I just love how we go from "OMG!!! Deadpool and Wonder Woman truly had stunning OW/overall perf (DP)/Legs/Overall Perf/Multi (WW)!" to "Meh, they are superhero films, after all. It's not shocking." How quickly/conveninetly we forget the skepticism and doom-n-gloom around both of those films before they opened. BOT, you keep doing you.
  4. How long before the inevitable backlash for being "too slick," "too big-studio polished," "too non-scary" or whatever other petty ole thing they can come up with?
  5. This means that once Thor3 fails to gross 300 million domestic and 1 billion worldwide we will all go back to "No such thing as YT view rules!" (then we'll go back to "See? YT views rules bitches!") once the next YT views underperformer turns into a box office behemoth).
  6. Legs: Wonder Woman is definitely the story of the year so far in terms of blockbusters having legs In terms of OW: IT is probably the story of the year so far... No matters which one wins, WB wins...
  7. "Finally gets us excited" "150 million OW" "Hulk and Doctor Strange...casuals"
  8. "Some Kind of Wonderful is sort of a chick movie, but it's still very funny and makes you think." LOL Because, obviously, "chick movies" cannot possibly be funny and make you think, except for very rare cases, like Some Kind of Wonderful.
  9. Fatal Instinct was awesome. And so was Not Another Teen Movie. Come at me, bros...
  10. 51- 40-ish- 32= 124-ish? Yes? No? Bigger OW than SM:H, bigger OW than WW, and only 20-ish million less than GOTG2's OW? Damn! Fingers crossed!!
  11. Could this be happening? TWO well-reviewed films in 2017 that feature Wonder Woman? Like @Spidey Freak mentioned before, 76 years waiting for Diana to get her cinematic close-up, and what we finally get is an embarrassment of riches. (Justice League , the ball is in your court now; don't disappoint us WW fans...) To be honest, what would really make me happy about a Professor Marston & The Wonder Women breakout is the possibility of having another female director (Angela Robinson, a woman of color too!) get increased clout in Hollywood.
  12. Does that include the Micronauts? Because that property combines the superhero craze with an Ant-Man-like scenario, robots, nostalgia, and the films-based-on-toys...em...craze?
  13. American Horror Story: Cult just debuted with a heavily creepy-clown-centric aesthetic and plot, so I can totally see a new Scary Movie jumping on the clown "fad"...maybe it can also lean on the Purge mini-phenom, the success of The Shallows and 47 Meters Down, Wonder Woman and the hoped-for avalanche of female superhero movies, the ascent of Trump and the empowerment of neo-Nazism/White Nationalism, snowflakes, safe spaces, and all that fun stuff. 1 billion WW guaranteed.
  14. Same here. The hype is real, y'all. My mother and father both asked me about It : I swear to God that the last time they were curious/hyped about any scary film was when Hailey Joel Osment was seeing dead people.
  15. Warner Bros. is certainly amazing when it comes to promoting and creating hype for the right property. It is killing it, and even though they only share the WB connection, this historic OW for the horror film gives me a really good feeling about the OW potential for Wonder Woman 2. It has tons of audience goodwill in its side already...if the buzz builds and WB does their impeccable PR magic, December 13, 2019 will be...amazing for the amazing amazon. Wonderful even!
  16. I think that that^^^is your attempt at a pun. However, I am not entirely sure. But you tried it...
