Han Solo doesn't have to be as big as TFA or even RO to be the # 1 grossing film of the year.
I could see a 495--510 domestic total for it, which could be enough to outgross what I think JW2 and IW will do.
I would say that, despite the actual box office numbers (Aladdin wins), TLM had a much bigger cultural impact than Aladdin.
Of that whole Disney hand-drawn golden age, I feel that there is TLK, BATB, TLM...and then everything else.
People are convinced that this film is going to turn off audiences...but...what if the whole thing becomes an Inception-type buzz machine precisely because of its puzzle-like qualities? What if it becomes a watercooler-conversation type of phenomenon?
Not saying that this is going to gross 292 million, obviously, but what if it does a mini-Inception ?
1- Han Solo: A Star Wars Story (or whatever its official name is)***
2-Infinity War
3-Black Panther
4- Aquaman
5- Jurassic World 2
***I can already see that this will be the greatly underestimated/underpredicted blockbuster of 2018 (despite the Star Wars box office pedigree).
My dream Jlaw collabs are Amy Schumer (done), Jane Fonda, and Bette Midler. I'd love to see her paired with Michael B. Jordan in something not unlike what Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington did in The Pelican Brief ...but with lots of sexy-times LOL
Yay!!!
And Jennifer co-wrote it with Amy and her sis, eh? Interesting.
I am very intrigued; I am dying to see how their real-life chemistry works on screen.
Hopefully, it will be a major studio picture that gets a solid marketing push.
Amy and Jennifer together in a potentially crowd-pleasing, high-concept comedy could lead to big bucks at the box office.
LOL Nice!!!
You are hating on this too?
Confirmed: Professor Marston and the Wonder Women will be a front-running Oscar contender.
Please give us your absurdly lowballing predictions for this; we all know that whenever you make a box office prediction for a film about Wonder Woman, said film's actual box office proves you insanely wrong.
Jen, aka the Red Sparrow, sister of Emily, aka the almost-Black Widow.
Speaking of which, any news about that Amy Schumer/Jlaw collab comedy?
Was that shelved? Did they quietly move on?
