  1. By the time the first sequel is done in theatres, he will have tripled, maybe quadrupled what they spent on all four sequels. It's all good.
  2. True. I guess he and his kids are smart for liking what he thinks are smart shows. And he said "nobody likes TTG," which is evidently, demonstrably wrong.
  3. LOL The part of the article that jumped at me was the bit about the director "waiting in the wings to return."
  4. "Nobody likes Teen Titans Go" I don't know if I live in Bizarro World, but TTG has been incredibly popular among my students since the show debuted, and it consistently gets solid ratings. Someone must like them...
  5. I want a film in which the Trinity fully interact (not just battling some villain).
  6. The Teen Titans brand is a goldmine that WB needs to take advantage ASAP. TTG is an iconic, beloved show and the Perez/Wolfman comics are deservedly legendary. Play your cards right, WB, and you will reap those benefits forevah... I'd rather see this than the millionth Spidey or Bats assembly-line product...
  7. LOL Watch as four (maybe 5) superhero films end up in the yearly top ten (Avengers 3, Black Panther, Aquaman, Incredibles 2, Deadpool 2<----no particular order). Heck, even Ant-Man and the Wasp might sneak in...
  8. And watch as it becomes a smash. I bet this will be a better TT product than the TV show they are making.
  9. How much was the intial estimate for Ninjago ? So The Hitman's Bodyguard ended up being a nice little hit after all...
  10. Super serious/'realistic' or super camp/stupid don't have to be the only two options here. This film could end up being a fun, serious-but-not-entirely-humorless adventure/thriller/horror (it does have horror elements, right?)
  11. Same here. I guess the first time is just the visceral reaction; you just take things in on a superficial level... Second time I tried to play closer attention and read between the lines, you know, all that good stuff. I still think it's a fascinating film and yes, very well made. Interestingly enough, as you saw, the movie did not drop this past weekend as badly as we all expected. I wonder if the whole "OMG, this film is soooooooo bad you won't believe it!!!" is actually having the effect of making people curious. This might be considered a failure, but boy, I'd rather have an interesting, thought-provoking, memorable "failure" than an utterly run-of-the-mill, assembly-line, middle-of-the-road success that everyone will forget in a couple of months.
  12. Has anyone re-watched this? What did you think? Did you discover things that you may have overlooked the first time? I can totally see this film becoming a cult favorite. It is certainly thought-provoking. The infamous scene that has revolted so many people is the least interesting part of the film.
  13. LOL!!! Has he called Manchester By The Sea dull and Guardians of the Galaxy a brilliant work of art yet? Drugs, man. They kill.
  14. That is definitely true. There's gotta be an emotionally compelling/relatable trait to her, something that makes the audience root for the character. I bet the next trailer will show a glimpse of that.
  15. DAMN! So much beauty. You gotta give it to mother! : it has inspired amazing art. Just breathtaking.
