  1. Of course it's gonna bomb. People need to look at this super empty April... If WBD believed Mickey would be liked by general audience it would premiere this week. Literally every single movie has great reactions from Cinema Con. I mean... What were people expecting to hear?
  2. Yep. For last couple of years big budget movies has zero personality. Anyway, didn't like the first one that much but this looks better.
  3. Not sure I buy that number. Usually it was official budget + 10-20% but that really became official budget + 25-60% over last two years so who knows. However, filming was quite short. Just 3 months or so.
  4. Because they're selling the studio. The same thing WBD's been doing for months. Or MGM when they gave PTA 70M to make Licorice Pizza and then sold the studio to Amazon.
  5. They claimed 130M forNapoleon. But in reality it was very likely 220-230. Also Flower Moon 260-280.
  6. They couldn't start 5-6 weeks of filming on location in Miami because of actors' strike so yeah probably impossible to make that June date.
  7. Also people definitely underestimate inflation. Both in Hollywood and in 'real life'. That definitely adds 20-30% to every single project.
  8. Redstone's obviously selling Paramount and that's been the plan for few months now so they don't care anymore.
  9. Batgirls tested in 50s to 60s, those other two movies always in 60s. October 25, November 15 or December 25 would have made sense but end of January don't bring any confidence and Warners know that.
  10. But that doesn't make much sense for me. Most of that crowd became Top Gun fans when they were young rebels. Or at least in their heads. Fir them Maverick was like some time machine.
  11. 70M budget and OS probably won't count for more than 30-35% so this may not make any money in theaters.
  12. Too many just don't like Sneider as a person, that's it. And Honestly... This looks fine but I don't expect more than a 6-7/10 movie and 350-370M WW-China.
  13. Gladiator's main audience was 30+ or 35+. Now they're 55-75 or so and current audience in early 30s don't gave the same connection to this genre. Obviously this is just my opinion but I believe that a lot of people will be dissapointed with G2 bix office
  14. I think most of these guys are very young and didn's see any film made before the Attack of the Clones lol. I think whole film twitter is like that and doesn't matter whether they stan Marvel, A24 or The Bear. Their opinion don't mean much. They like one thing and ten minutes later they just switch to another thing.
  15. Yeah, absolutely. If this was just Deadpool 3 then I'd say 550-700 WW but member berries probably add 150-200 minimum.
  16. Genuinely tired of Reynolds so will only see it for OG FoxVerse + if reactions are at least decent.
  17. Looks fine but lacks any X factor. Think it can still make 300-350 WW but they really need to attract 35+ males.
  18. Sounds like the perfect job for Peyton Reed lol. Honestly these big studios basically transformed into factories during mid / late 2010s and last year it became obvious a big part of audience had enough so what's the logic behind pushing a project like this one? They're lowering value of their top brands like there's no tomorrow and really that's how suits treat studio bussiness these days. Just deliver products and who cares how the biz looks like five years from now.
