  1. I haven't even seen it yet, so I can't even agree or disagree 😛 hopefully when it shows up on Netflix or HBO or wherever I'll catch it so I can finally make an opinion
  2. My two Regals have the red level plan. I already have the app but there is nothing to sign up for yet. Maybe Im just missing the page lol
  3. Yeah I'm not getting the concerns about it being a longer movie. Plenty of genres have had longer movies and no one's complained. The only time anyone complains is if the movie is bad, but that's an obvious problem 😛
  4. I liked the movie but something didn't grab me so it kept it from being great for me. I think I liked it more after I described it to someone that would never watch it, and I got more joy out of explaining it and enjoying the funny moments even more. It could easily have been shorted and tightened up so I think that criticism is legitimate. He did a good job at catching the vibe at that time and the look of it too. The whole Sharon Tate and Manson stuff was like 2% of the movie and almost a McGuffin, but yes obviously it was needed to set up the ending which yes I really liked and wish it was real and not fictional. Totally predictable ending though. Of course not in the specifics like the dog food and dog and flame thrower but the trailer and it being a QT gave away that the murders at the house were not going to happen So overall, it is an enjoyable film that for me, just missed being great. So I give it probably a B
  5. @JB33 I think you are going to enjoy it. You seem to be really ready for it so I am sure it will be a good pay off for you as for cinemascore i think it will be more than the B for hateful 8, but I wouldn't be surprise at any grade it gets
  6. I could definitely see, if it's a true complaint, about it possibly being too long and some parts people don't like. That's why I said the word of mouth could just be decent. I could also see mixed word of mouth but overall I think most people know what they're getting into it by seeing this movie so most will enjoy it
  7. 1. Captain Marvel - C+ 2. Spider-man into the Spiderverse - A- 3. Hellboy - C 4. Shazam - B 5. Avengers: Endgame - A- 6. John Wick 3 - B+ 7. Brightburn - B 8. Aladdin (2019) - B 9. Godzilla: King of the Monsters - A- 10. Midsommar - B- 11. Crawl - B 12. Once Upon a time in Hollywood - B
  8. Decent movie. Ending was predictable but I knew that from the first trailer. I still liked the ending, don't get me wrong, and I think most will too I'm sure this will have , at worst, decent WOM.
  9. Oh I definitely think the kids will be at least in 25% of the film and that's probably low. Even if they aren't, there's still tons of material with the adults
  10. Not baumer but I also read the book and I think the runtime can definitely be warranted depending on what they take from the book and put in the movie
  11. Ok, I broke down and in the theater now. Probably not the best idea since I haven't slept in 30+ hours and this is a long talkie movie. Hopefully I won't snore 😛
  12. I'm debating about seeing this in an hour and a half. I guess the biggest plus is, if I go, it will give me enough points to have a free ticket for me next visit and it helps me keep my diamond status
  13. I really liked the first one and this seems ok. I liked the trailer but it was still hit or miss, but mostly hit for me. The opening of the trailer with all the Academy award stuff is both hilarious and obviously true
  14. wow, that's not really a discount at all. I know there are $6 Tuesdays at AMCs here.
  15. sure seems like it. I lost the link to the article but they said it's more of a harder R than chapter one. So yeah looks like they want to go full bore on this one and I just ordered this shirt in preparation for the movie
  16. you would think. I believe i have a Tuesday and a Wednesday cheap day at different theaters, so I won't complain about, but yeah raising the prices much more on the other days, I guess to make up the difference, doesn't help me out much
  17. yeah it does, even the non-recliner, non-reserved seating one 3 minutes down the road raised their prices to $12.25. I know ticket prices go up but this was literally out of left field.
  18. ok, this is complaining 😛 dammit my main movie theater just raised their ticket prices to $13,99. It was just $11.65 the last time I went like 9 days ago.
  19. no shock but officially rated R Chapter Two has been rated R for “disturbing violent content and bloody images throughout, pervasive language, and some crude sexual material.”
  20. yeah I'm looking forward to the show so hopefully it works for me
