  1. 30 minute? Geez with trailers and that "short", it will be an hour before the movie even starts 😛
  2. @baumerwatched season 2 of Slasher. I got the twist and the killer before it was revealed. The killer I got pretty early BUT it took until I think until episode 5 or 6 until I got the twist. It hit me during the questioning episode and it was like Ooohhh lol. I think that was 5 or anyway, yeah fun show. I do think seasons 2 and 3 were better than 1. Thanks again for the heads up about the show
  3. No they didn't. Just what is left to say. 😛 We liked it and it isn't doing great business. No reason to get into with some people. We just want to see another good movie in GvK
  4. Yes her name was Violet so you were right. Yeah I'll be starting season 2 today and I'll see how right or wrong I will be 😛
  5. yeah I kind of figured it out but yeah, it wasn't easy and they were definitely more mysterious about it in season 3 than season 1. and threw it off with the switch of why the killer was killing in the first place
  6. Agreed, the blender and acid parts were cool too in season 3
  7. @baumer I'm done seasons 1 and 3 of Slasher. For some reason, after season 1 and it just kept going, it skipped season 2 😛 so i'll probably start that tomorrow but the show isn't too bad, Great kills, sometimes the story is a little much, but overall, it is a fun series
  8. Good to know. The first season is a bit "cheesy" so far but I'm liking it enough to get through it as I'm about to start episode 4
  9. No idea what show you all or even taking about lol @baumerI'm on episode two of season one of that Slasher show. Seems decent so far
  10. Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out
  11. Yeah that's probably my take. There was nothing interesting in that trailer at all. I still may see it if I have a free ticket
  12. Totally agree. I loved the one I attended
  13. yeah me too, but I wouldn't say he was a box office draw at all. But I knew him before Captain America and even Fantastic Four. But I realize I was probably in the minority there
  14. totally agree, I have it the best of the 3 new cast X-men movies so far and I don't think Dark Phoenix is going to best it from how it looks. But I could be totally wrong with that since I haven't seen it yet
  15. yeah I guess Godzilla will not catch on past its built in audience. I like the movies, but I can see why they wouldn't grab any more viewers than it already has. Godzilla v Kong will probably do more, but I can't say it will break out now. Oh well, I got a fun film out of it and since I may not see another movie until August, at least, this worked out for me until then
  16. loved the film, but I will admit I am a big Godzilla fan so I probably like some scenes and references than some other people. The humans were even better this time and I like they kept the idea of keeping balance for nature/the plane.t So many awesome looking scenes even the "fake out" near the end where you saw another Ghidorah head show up but it was just in Godzilla's mouth yes I will say the buzz word here, the SCALE was amazing, of course. I'd give it an A- for just pure fun and spectacle
  17. 1. Captain Marvel - C+ 2. Spider-man into the Spiderverse - A- 3. Hellboy - C 4. Shazam - B 5. Avengers: Endgame - A- 6. John Wick 3 - B+ 7. Brightburn - B 8. Aladdin (2019) - B 9. Godzilla: King of the Monsters - A-
  18. see for me this critic thing is easy. I don't read or listen to any of them so not only do I not care what they say, I don't even know what they say
  19. thanks for the heads up. I wasn't going to see it in the theaters anyway, but if I do ever wind up seeing it, yeah I will wait to cable or netflix, whichever comes first
  20. while not a great movie by any means, I had enough fun with it to enjoy it. The beginning parts are pretty awful and very choppy and uneven, But it does get going after a while and is at least pretty entertaining, to me. It has many issues but I'd still give it a B and still easily the best live action Disney so far (I haven't seen Dumbo yet though)
  21. Forced myself to see this today and I was pleasantly surprised. Not a great movie by any means, and maybe my love for the original helped, but I enjoyed it. For me, it's probably the best of the live action stuff, which yes I get is a backhanded compliment since they are all pretty bad. Although I haven't seen Dumbo so can't speak to that one. but I had fun with it and the crowd was semi-into it as well. I have a few, or more, issues with it, but at least I don't feel like I wasted my money. So I can see how people would be liking the film.
