    I am convinced that PROMETHEUS is butchered in the editing room. By who? Who knows. And I am flabbergasted when I heard Scott said in one of his interviews that PROMETHEUS is perfect as it is and there is no Special Extended Cut or Directorial Cut available for BluRay. Flabbergasted, shocked and befuddled. My jaw just hangs there...

    As much as I like half of PROMETHEUS, I have to strongly agree with the above statement. I saw ALIEN again after watching PROMETHEUS and realize how much I prefer the younger Ridley work.

    Well, the movie did put us int that self-reflective inward journey of the mind. You cannot help to ponder about the whole Creation ideas even though the movie does not address it directly or explicitly.

    Will China be a huge factor? I think this will clean up well in Europe, and South America, the more religious continent, would follow. I suspect it will do OK to good in Asia but the action/adventure styling may attract audience beyond the religious crowd. I think it will do more than $285M OS, judging by the positive receptions in Korea & Mexico.
