  1. this could be the reason: 18 11 The Inbetweeners 2 MA15+ Roadshow $ 70,406 -73.4% 50 -149 $1,408 $ 7,389,538 5 losing more than 75% of your screens does that
  2. no .. it's already been out for 2 weeks. That's a good start for maze runner (compared to the states too) not good starts for planes 2, boxtrolls and especially the giver. In saying that, holidays have only just started in qld. most of the country isn't on holidays this weekend coming. still very disappointing results and not a good sign for this holidays.
  3. I was going to step out of this one.. but I might as well enter in my top 15... will go away and work this all out.... "winter is indeed coming" (though in my case.. it's summer is coming )
  4. Not a bad opening for TMNT. I think 15m to 20m is manageable from here given holidays start rolling from this weekend around the country. I don't expect Planes to perform well here (10m at most I think). I don't understand why GOTG lost so many screens... -190 ??? given it's continuing to have one of the best averages in the top 20. (it's the 2nd highest average in the top 10 only behind TMNT and 4th in the top 20...... ) I think the competition just isn't that strong at the moment for this holidays meaning GOTG can hold well during the holidays... I think 28m is possible here with an outside shot of 30m now if it can hold onto screens.

  6. While that number looks low, TMNT is only in previews. So in context it's a good sign. Opens 11th sept. Positioned perfectly for the sept holidays coming soon. Into the storm about where expected.
  7. Shame we couldn't run a special forum like the help forum for the preseason?
  8. Slight improvement. 26th. Not all bad. Not great. If I hadn't stopped playing for 2 wks. Top 15 might have happened. My preseason made sure I wouldn't win though :(Well done to film. Is that the first time someone has actually come out of nowhere to win?
  9. i'm out too .... it's been fun bed time for me.......
  10. wait till chewy sees this.... no matter what was being said.. i'm sure he thought he had this too
  11. I think Film / Filmmovie's jump from 37th to 1st is the rather most impressive.... literally out of nowhere! Pretty much won it due to the Worldwide Weekends Top 5 Chart..... think you will need to revise the scoring on that on or drop it completely next year B.... Of course "Film" will be pushing for it stay on in it's current form!
  12. This year has turned out to be one of the hardest years to predict... NO ONE got the #1 film (gotg) for the summer for example. In fact the highest anyone had GOTG was 7th! 36 picked the 2nd film (TF4). NO ONE picked the 3rd film (maleficent) in 3rd place (highest place was 5th) 25 picked x-men as the 4th film 21 picked apes as the 5th film 9 players picked 14 / 15 (little hint .. our winner will come from this group) 5 players got the spots 3 to 6 in any order bonus. (well done to them) The film least expected to make the top 15 and did was: - Lucy - only 4 picked the film to be in the top 15 the film most expected to make the top 15 and didn't was: - Planes 2 - 30 picked the film and it missed - Think like a man too - 29 picked the film and it missed too - Million ways to die - 26 picked the film and it missed also.
  13. Hmmmmm so it seems being a mod on a movie site doesn't make you a good predictor... (all the mods who played don't look like they will be troubling the top 20 when all is said and done - not that i ever was
  14. * sneaks out of the very secret counting room to grin at everyone and then runs back in *
  15. Well done chewy. But that is not where u'll stay for the overall. Frankly there is enough scoring difference in the worldwide weekends the winner could come from below 40th looking at things. Now we wait
  16. all this crowing around the weekly questions / SOTM & presason bonus questions will all likely be mute in the final context of the game... while it will help i suspect it won't go close to deciding who wins... I've seen the scores from the weekend charts and some players stand to gain a lot... don't give this up to chewy yet... Frankly anyone who is in the top 30 at the end of the season questions has a chance of winning given the large descrepancy i've seen in scores. and i'm not looking at the main charts either
  17. Only info I have for the weekend gone so far is, - "If I stay" is currently the highest opener of the weekend in 4th spot with around 1.1m USD. At a guess i'd say the top 5 looks like: 1 / 2 Inbetweeners 2 1 / 2 Guardian's of the Galaxy 3 100 foot journey 4 If I stay 5 Lucy ? - jajang
  18. Fantastic hold for GOTG. Even turtles going strong. Barring a catastrophe GOTG is passing 300m.
  19. Guys, lets keep things on track here... there are plenty of other topics where the hobbit and maze runner can be discussed... lets keep it to the numbers for the weekend here
  20. Yeah your right on that one but that still made sense due to the large opening in the US.
  21. Guardian's is on track for a total > 25m AUD at the moment... 30m is out of reach right now, but that's gonna look pretty impressive given it will be the 4th biggest film of the year and if it could get to 27m then only the lego movie would still be above it.
