  1. I figured it'd end with gunshot sounds to imply their deaths, but now I'm assuming they'll be kept prisoners awaiting public execution and they'll be rescued or something by Rick and company. I can't imagine that Glen and Maggie and Michonne would be happy with Merle coming back though.
  2. The show is still pretty inconsistent, but the highs are way more often than the lows this season, and this entire episode was one of them. It isn't up there with top tier cable like Breaking Bad or Homeland or Mad Men, but it's inching closer with every new episode. I'd say by this time next season it could reach a Mad Men level of a quality (at least recent Mad Men), but it'll never be a Breaking Bad/The Wire type.
  3. Either of the prisoners, Daryl, Hershel, Carol, Hershel's bad actress of a daughter are all fair game to me. I really thought Glen was close to being chopped in the last episode, but he was too valiant throughout all of that to kill him off now.
  4. Kevin Bacon doesn't need to be winning, he's just Kevin FUCKING Bacon. And it really is a shame that things didn't go too well for the cast of that great show, outside of Kunis. I did quite enjoy Topher Grace in Predators and even *gulp* Spider-man 3, it's too bad he doesn't get more work.
  5. The show was garbage when Sheen was on, I can't imagine how bad it is with Kutcher who's seemed to be completely clueless since he left That 70's Show.
  6. So, the show might actually finally be on its way out? The Lord works in mysterious ways...
  7. These are both accurate statements.Adim, there's no telling at this point. They apparently didn't forget about Merle or the helicopter, so it's reasonable to think they didn't forget about Duane and Morgan either.
  8. I'm pretty sure you're only repeating the phrase "AMC's FINEST show" because you know there isn't anybody here who agrees with that statement.
  9. Part of me can't help but feel this was damage control for last season by getting rid of Lori and simultaneously inspiring a character change for Carl, possibly into someone who doesn't completely suck. I would have preferred Carol dying over T-Dog, but whatever there. But just wow at Andrew Lincoln's performance there in the end, he's got some skills. Lauren Cohan too, for that matter. The acting by pretty much everyone in the ending there made that feel almost more real and raw than I'm comfortable with.
  10. I feel like this show deserves Emmys for the first time since it started. Mainly for Andrew Lincoln, but he always has Bryan Cranston to compete with (though this half season didn't quite get him at any peak performances).
  11. Person I Don't Like That Thinks We're Friends for Some Reason: "That movie sucked so much."Me: "Well, I can see why you think that, and that's because you're stupid."Thankfully all my friends liked it, and my dad and his friend. I've gotten no taste of this group that thought it was awful, thankfully.
  12. Solid horror movie. There's a bit too many flaws in logic and the plot is a bit too thin for it to be great though, which is a shame because the atmosphere was killer and it really could've been something special. There's still plenty of chills (mostly before the husband went out) and the acting is good by horror standards. I'd like to see the concept blatantly stolen in the future and handled with a bit more finesse in the writing department. 7/10
  13. Nobody liked her before she lost her daughter. And her blaming Rick and then being all around bitchy for the remainder of the season and being teased as the love interest for a fan favorite just kept her from having a shot. It's like Skylar on Breaking Bad for the first couple seasons; she may have had an excuse for being bitchy in real life, but all she's doing is going against awesome characters that people like (Walt in seasons 1-3, Rick) and that is going to attract hatred from the fanbase. Add in the fact that Carol was never a major character and serves no real purpose now that Sofia is dead for good measure. It's as if they combined the Carol from the comics who didn't strike me as annoying with Donna, who was an annoying c-word in Book One.
  14. I think Carol and Carl (ha!) have earned the undying hatred of the viewers last season, and the only acceptable reconciliation for them is death. Or exile. Lori can probably get away with keeping her mouth shut for a while as part of a probation period.
  15. I love Emily Blunt. She's like a tier below Regina Spektor, Zooey Deschanel, Maria Kanellis, and AJ Lee in my celebrity crushes.
  16. Movies are different; for one nobody really goes to see EVERY SINGLE new movie, and a movie is a couple hours and done; with a season of television, you're looking at hours upon hours of broadcasting. I can't even keep up with all the good shows, I certainly am not going to give every new one that comes on the air more and more hours. I'm not saying there's anything at all wrong with it, but it's just something that is completely beyond me.
  17. Man, there are so many crappy shows, how people actually keep up with new ones baffles me.
