Both should just retire. They have more than enough money and have experienced lots of success. There's no reason for them other than their ego to keep acting.
Where is Algren from?
Also, Algren had to know this would flop. After The Last Stand did, it was a given this would. Even moreso after Parker also tanked.
Bullet to Head has received some hateful negative reviews with some calling it one of the most misogynistic, racist, and homophobic films in a long time.
The theatre I go to just started selling pizza, ice cream, cheese burgers, chicken wings, tacos, lattes, etc. along with the usual (popcorn, nachos, salted pretzels, candy). It stinks (seriously) when people bring in a pizza that has onions or yuck...anchovies on it as both smell nasty.
This is different than the thread where you post movies and their grades as you see them. This is more general: Would you say that you see movies in theatres every week on average? Every two? Once a month? And how much would you say you spend on viewing movies theatrically per month? Include food/soda costs if you usually purchase those things?
I'd say I spend about $20 per week between tickets and food/pop and go about 3 out of every 4 weeks in a month on average. I saw 110 movies in theatres last year.
I don't have Netflix any longer. Wonder how R-rated this will be? Showtime, Cinemax, Starz, and HBO load their shows up with nudity. Will this follow suit or will it be something that could have aired on network TV?
Thank-you! Chastain is so overrated. She was badly miscast as a punk rocker chick in Mama. She's too old to play basically what amounted to Lisbeth Salander with more social skills and way less to do or any sort of interesting personality outside of "Yeah, I'm in a rock band and have no goals in life aside from slumming in this crappy apartment with my boyfriend and drinking Heineken with my equally gothy friends."
If you're argument is that the general audience liked a movie more, that's a bad argument because most people are brainless morons who shouldn't be allowed to procreate.
Pretty solid for Hansel & Gretel, especially considering the multiplier. Fun movie. Would love to see a sequel with Gemma returning. Don't care if they replace Renner. Doubt he would return anyway.
