Well then how do songs still sell 6 million copies if everyone is just pirating all the time? Single sales are huge, pirating or not. I follow the music industry as much as the movie one.

Yeah, I don't see AH as a comedy at all. Whereas WOWS is nothing but a comedy.

But single sales are where it's at today, not album sales. If Frozen's soundtrack was so huge there would be multiple songs from it in the top 20 on itunes, and Let It Go would be in the top 5 if it was such a big hit. Just look at when someone like Taylor Swift releases a new album, half of the top twenty becomes songs from that album.

In the digital era where album sales are practically meaningless right? The 90's album market was massive. It took like 400k+ a lot of weeks to hit #1. And #1 on an album chart is not that big of a deal in the long run of an album's sales. Most of the best selling albums of all time never hit #1, some never hit top 10. If Frozen's soundtrack was such a huge success, the songs would be selling like crazy on iTunes and getting big airplay. Single sales are way bigger today than album sales, but even still the 90's ones had songs that went top 10 and even #1 on the Hot 100. Frozen can't even do that.

Frozen should win Animated feature at the Oscars, but song is in no way a lock. As I've said a million times to the Frozen loonies, the soundtrack has had nowhere near the success and acclaim of the big Disney 90's ones.

It's strange how rabid they are on this forum. This is the only place on the entire internet I've seen so many diehard, head over heels loonies for the movie.

I agree Bono comes off like a pretentious asshole. Ordinary Love is a decent song though. Atlas was the best song nominated by a country mile.

Sorry but Let It Go is NOT a good song Frozen loonies. I get how people can love the movie, but the songs are mediocre at absolute best. And the lyrics mostly suck.

Jennifer has a stronger chance at the moment than N'yongo for the Oscar. She's won the Toronto, New York, and San Francisco Critic awards and now the Globes. N'yongo has only won the LA and DC critics so far.

J Law was great in AH, sorry haters. She's not in the movie much but still manages to steal the show. That's the best a supporting actor should do.

That would be the most surprising, but given Mandela's recent death who knows? None of the other 4 will surprise me at all though if they win.

I feel like Best Actor in drama could go to almost anyone tonight. Won't be shocked by any choice.
