  1. Lol, in BOM's weekend report if you click on the Frozen link in the article here's where it takes you: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=frozen.htm Man, Frozen has been an epic bomb.
  2. Watch the Academy just give it to Pixar again and everyone lose their shit. Hell if they could do it last year, it could happen this year. The only real difference is WIR wasn't the box office success of Frozen, but the Academy often doesn't care about what the biggest success was. They completely snubbed Tangled from the noms that year. They don't seem to like WDA much.
  3. It won't top Shrek 3 either in attendance, though that's one it actually deserves to.
  4. Thank you! Anyways I can always take solace in the fact that Frozen still isn't gonna top any of these classics in first run attendance: The Lion King Aladdin Toy Story trilogy Shrek 1 and 2 Finding Nemo Monsters Inc The Incredibles It does piss me off it will beat Beauty and the Beast though in first run attendance. Now that's a true animated masterpiece.
  5. Well then you felt the same about the film as me. I just hate its huge success and how overrated it is.
  6. Yeah as adorable as those who think you must be uneducated if you can't see its brilliance.
  7. I'm not even alone on this forum though, let alone in real life. Jack Nevada hates it too, so ha!
  8. And that mentality is what makes you a sheep towards it. That's what you've been told by critics/ film "experts" over and over, so that's how it's got to be right? Wake up and watch it objectively.
  9. I know a guy who loves animation movies and cites films like The Lion King, Spirited Away, and Toy Story 3 as some of his favorite of all time. He saw Frozen and wrote a review saying it was entirely mediocre aside from the animation and couldn't help but wonder what the fuss was all about. Oh wait, that was me! Anecdotes are fun.
  10. You're more the exception then. Plenty of people here bitch and moan when movies they don't like are big successes. I just have to do double time for Frozen since I'm the only real hater on the board. I could really use some backup, this shit is getting exhausting.
  11. Only sheep believe Citizen Kane is one of the best films of all time, and that is the stone cold truth.
  12. The next time a movie you think is overrated/sucks is a huge success I hope it fucking burns man. And that goes for all you Frozen nuts.
  13. There is literally no other movie aside from Citizen Kane that's coming to my mind right now as more overrated than Frozen. Thankfully I don't expect the adoration to last for too long. It won't stand the test of time.
  14. Let me just get this out of the way since I agreed to it if Frozen dropped under 40% this weekend, but I'm only saying it this once: Frozen has the best WOM for an animated movie since Finding Nemo. There, now someone please kill me with Elsa's fucking ice sparkles.
  15. Fuck that shit. You know, I wouldn't even have anything against it if everyone wasn't acting like it was so great. It's not that I think it's bad, it's just got to be the most overrated movie to come along in years.
  16. I agree, but I don't understand why people were expecting the next TDK to come out of a Snyder film? All of his movies are in the B-/C+ range, imo.
  17. I really don't understand why people were so letdown by MOS given you know exactly what you're getting with a Snyder film if you've ever seen one. And it wasn't like that was the first time the trailers made one of his movies look way better than it was either.
  18. I feel like general audiences must have been into it since only Gladiator and ROTK were more successful at the box office among 21st century BP winners. Obviously people liked it at the time.
  19. Haha, indeed. All I really want to do is go build a snowman but I can't seem to find any pants to wear...
