King Of The Monsters WAS high art...to me, to me, tumi. A lot of people didn't get it, but I did. ❤️ Rewatched Godzilla vs. Kong the other day, and I liked it more than I remembered.

Alamo Drafthouse is fun. They are showing the extended versions of Lord Of The Rings, which I never saw. Finally, I got to see The Two Towers today with my best friend. Yesterday's showing was almost completely sold out on Wednesday, but today only sold like 10 tickets...crazy how much a difference the showtime makes.

Good! I'm glad you're safe for the most part. My besties are experiencing their first winter in Philadelphia, so I'm curious to see how they'll feel.

It was all right. Definitely had some fun moments in there, but the story and film SORELY needed Mera. Felt so empty without her. She stole her very short scenes for me, looked badass and beautiful. Patrick Wilson was good in this. Momoa was very meh to me. Does well in some parts, but when it's too much of him coming through, it just loses it for me. The humor was hit or miss though there were a few good laughs. I wish the story had been stronger.

@Eric Owns Mickey Mouse I cried, hubs. This was so good. Loved the music, loved the look. Thought it was strong acting across the board, with many people stealing scenes here and there. The last act...I was so emotional. Just hearing the first notes of Pure Imagination, I got emotional. Did not realize how much the original really had an impact on me, same goes for the one with Freddie Highmore. But, when he read the messages in the chocolate from his mother, I was very touched. When Noodle reunites with her mother? Pure holiday magic. I recommend it.

Today was my last day at work...AHH. I feel so fucking free now.
