That's all true, however, most people WILL see it as nothing more than a TWD copy regardless of its quality because that's exactly what it's trailers and commercials make it look like. And also because it's on the SYFY channel, which isn't exactly known for high quality series. As a result, I'd say it's a good bet it won't have very high ratings. Especially not when it begins airing just a month before the highly anticipated and publicized next season of TWD. IMO, they'd have done better airing the whole thing during the TWD 6-month break. Then it might have had the chance to whet the appetites of TWD fans who hate the waiting, without also having to deal with it as competition.

I personally think it's silly of them to even attempt to air this show. As humongous as TWD is now, making a show like this with this plot, even if the tone is a bit different, is stupid. Everyone will compare it to TWD, everyone will think of it as a ripoff. Trying to escort the "survivor" guy with the "answer" to the authorities is almost exactly the same as TWD's Eugene plot. If you're going to do a zombie series right now, it needs to be a total 180 from TWD.

Bran will be in season 5, as Isaac said himself he'll be filming for it next. It's just Hodor that won't be in.

See, you have to just look at the absurdity of it a different way. Don't take anything about it seriously. The ridiculous events are what make it hilarious. If a guy uses a shark as a parachute to make it safely down to the ground from the top of the Empire State Building, don't get mad because it's so stupid. It's supposed to be. Just laugh at the absurdity of it. I mean come on, the fact that someone intentionally came up with that, knowing how silly it is, is hilarious.

I was skeptical they could make the 2nd as ridiculously, horribly fantastic as the 1st, but they did. Finally saw this. I thought it was hilarious. I was dying at Leslie Mann.Oh, and baumer, saw my friend. But only after I asked which scene it was. I must have been looking away on first watch. She's in the first 8 minutes of movie when Nikolaj is on the sidewalk talking on the phone to Leslie. You mostly see her walking from the back, wearing a white business suit/skirt and she & "Mark" check each other out.

Another fan-dream casting for Doran. I don't know anyone who wasn't hoping for Siddig.Pryce is a great choice for the HS as well.

There's quite a bit more to do in TWD as far as effects and post compared to the other shows.They have tons of makeup & wardrobe to take care of, all the zombie kills have to be choreographed and rehearsed, then they have to do CG on most of them after filming. 16 episodes of that isn't easy to do.

Baumer, if you don't like the 6-month wait, be glad you don't watch Game of Thrones. Season ended June 6, next one won't begin til end March/beg April next year.
