marathoning first half of season 2 today , pretty good so far , 2 more episodes to go ...then i'll wait till june to watch the 2nd half i ain't got time for that show otherwise even though i love spader!

seeing the list like that its not apparent who didnt get nominated maybe you should edit your post for those who got snubbed , going to go over at AD for the uproar meltdown shenanigans that site is famous for .... having seen american sniper recently i did comment that the direction was pretty good and better than the hurt locker so i had a good feeling this had good chance of getting in ! happy for the imitation game on principle i haven't seen it yet but anything that can help my babe cumberbatch get traction for best actor is good news , esp since theory of everything didnt his british rival film lol i really have to watch these films so i have more weight in my arguments , which reminds me i started watching GBH earlier this year as so many was raving about it on the forums and don't think i watch more than a minute, i remember thinking what the heck is this ? took it off and never bothered again , ah yes for some reason i thought it was the sequel of the movie with those british who go on a retreat to india with the guy from slumdog millionaire so when i realized it wasnt that i turned it offf

still rooting for cumberbatch we'll see the golden globes results were just the kickoff of the season rewards

season 2 started last night ! good episode still not comfortable with all the cheating going on or as they call it open relationship, surely gays are into monogamous relationship too, right? life is more than a string of random hook-ups surely ! patrick just has to make that guy chose already him or his boyfriend ? i mean the guy drove up from the city to the wood to have sex with you surely that means something or maybe it just means that hmmm maybe its just me who tends to romanticize everything whichever way the couple in question swings ya know

don't know who they have to kill for that show to win a GG pfff disappointed by best actor , i wanted cumberbatch to win , eddie is sweet but he's a baby ya know , i just don't know how i can live in a world where he would win an oscar before leonardo di caprio like wtf , seriously at this juncture i'd rather anyone but the baby of the group if cumberbatch doesnt win keep in mind among the serious potential best actor noms i've seen bradley cooper,jake gyllenhall and that's that !

Lol I'm bad I ended up watching Fox New series EMPIRE which I enjoyed a lot then I turned my laptop off went to living room turned the tv on and ended up watching a movie called where angels fear to thread on Sundance channel for about 30'm then I remembered the golden globes red carpet on E! Channel so I'm watching that ,can't miss n Bitching about who's wearing what blah blah blah

colour me surprised this is actually pretty good ! the music in it is serious quality as oppose to fake run of the mill tracks to pass off as real songs within show reality but then i see tumberland is involved , i gotta say this has some serious potential for a major black cast show hmmmm i'm a fan of taraji and her hair so i'm def going to be enjoying this , yeah this is what you call a good pilot , set up lots of stuff for the future , surprising dept for 45 mn runtime ! lets hope it stays that way

eh ok theory it is ... i'll buzz back in 2 hrs ! cjohn birdman i'm sure has swearing in it , don't want any of that either , i need something that will reconnect me with my faith in the human psyche that lets us glimpse we could be so much more if we didnt pass 99% of our time being petty with each other for a piece of land or this or that excuse du jour !

yes but you have to take into account it was well acted by none other but the oh so famous swoon-worthy dashing english gentleman Mr DARCY himself commonly known as colin firth

I did not get the feeling the movie was glorifying him at all, except for maybe the funeral at the end but eh not even that really! Seemed like the usual fuss americans do when a soldier or cop etc dies in a tragic and /or unfortunate way War is an ugly business aint nobody comes out of that looking saintly no way no how ! if you're able to look at it from his pov and others who supported him or who may like this film , it was a me vs them situation , he wish he could have killed more because that meant saving the lives of more fellow american soldiers , its an ugly job but someone had to do it and he did ! Now of course once you bring morality into it , yes him liking to kill is despicable , you can say all kind of negative things about him and be right ! Sometimes i feel like americans in general have a strong sense of americanism if that makes any sense , very proud to be american very proud to serve their country etc etc very patriotic , that is very strange for me , i don't get that same feeling from french people in general and my self , we seem to have more of a love-hate relationship with our country ! Anyhoo back to film its not a fav of mine but i didnt hate it at all , it was well directed and fairly thrilling at time but i don't see it making a splash oscar wise , maybe for best actor but ehh the rest ... One thing for sure should they release the film in france i cannot wait to hear bradley cooper in interviews explain his character and his motivations in french , as you know that cutie pie speaks french really well

in order of preference and what i've seen so far among the potentials for best picture noms: gone girl nightcrawler american sniper my very dark horse : guardians of the galaxy , to bravely go where no marvel movie has gone to before the big categories at the oscars , really hope it gets in at least for screenplay wouldnt that be amazing? I have to watch all the other films first will get to it asap

i watched the first episode and found it boring i have yet to watch the rest ! i didnt find anything to get me hooked in , not a good looking actor , not the writing or the scenery nada all that said i was pretty tired when i watched it so i'll see if i give it another chance but ehhh it look blahh

cool to see Dame Jolie and Queen Meryl films off to such great box office numbers , happy holidays to both !
