  1. last night tried to watch THE ROVER but i was so tired the slow pace and sparse speech scene of first 5 mn i looked at running time and i was like i can't watch over an hour of that so then i started watching THE WIRE s01e01 halfway through i realize i had no idea what was going, my brain was on strike, my body was no cooperating either and at some point i must have fell asleep coz this morning when i press the button on of the laptop it started beeping because battery had died out and when it came on so did the episode of the wire where it cut off fitness cardio dvd plus a 5 miles walk was a bit of a stretch for me !
  2. poor ethan , they really had me teary eyed there , i hope that wasnt the final episode , going to ask oracle google if yes or no ? it was a good episode all things considered .... sure am going to miss seeing hubby goran visjnic on tv, hope he gets a new project soon , the man is sinfully hot and romantic!
  3. well its certainly fun so far, 15mn left to watch , oh shit oh shit oh shit i was like oh boy what the hell voila i'm willing to give this a chance , think there's enough space in tv land for 2 zombie shows , might give TWD the kick they need to push further !
  4. you gotta check your brain at the door before watching this show , it seems to have its own logic lol sorry about the chief bit of course duhh, funny thing is i myself said hey its chief when i saw him but by the end i had already forgotten about him , like i said too much thinking+this show does not mix this latest was a filler not sure we needed to see eph wife descent into vampirism , we already knew she was a goner lol not much happened, i feel the world needs to know what's going on is it only america /new york infected because then there is still hope unless the master has puppets doing same shit in europe ?
  5. looks like i'm the only one watching this ! its gotten real good , plot be thickening so aliens are hungry non-corporeal entities and humans are good source of protein don't read this if you haven't watched 1x12 i'm so mad with julie for letting that crazy anti techology dude near ethan , yes he's a robot but he's also just a kid!
  6. i'm bored , don't know what to do with myself today ! plus i'm having a black sails hangover , why was the season so short whyyyyyy, its like when you hit it off with someone friendly or romantic angle and you just want to spend more time with them !!
  7. he's not old! he's a well seasoned man ,actor's actor , man about town , guys want to be him, the ladies want to be with him hmmm yeaaah baby!
  8. i'm actually reading a book but i let my nephews watch edge of tomorrow and maleficent on my laptop so i was kinda hearing it in the background but watch watch naah but i will try to give both my complete attention at some point during the weekend gotta say both films look really well visually lol i hadnt read a book in months and maybe over a year now a physical book its so weird holding one in my hands
  9. poor flint everytime he thinks he has things under control , he's unaware he's got a mutiny festering i guess the "cook" silver joke might turn out true they might end up being friends in the end seeing as his crew wants him dead ,he might be his only friend that saves him meanwhile talk about another captain who i thought was dead , vane is back and quite hung he's going to be a lot of trouble in season 2 clearly with such a vicious crew ok one more episode to go ....
  10. go gotg kkkk i was going to say something but then i realized this isnt convo thread
  11. wow episode 3 was wayy cool who is this Mrs Barlow better yet who is she in relation to flint hmmm and who is flint in reality , i saw a name at bottom of painting but not sure its been a while since i studied british civilisation one of my fav subjects eleanor just had that other captain balls on a platter lol after screwing him literally kkk but the lady had to defend her woman max who is peeved at her right now but as shakespeare said the course of true love never ran smoothly yes! this show has me curious about the real pirates of the caribbean and what actually happened to them eventually i know my island was inhabited by pirates of different nationalities at one or another point in times like many small islands here, it was also occupied by the english, spanish until the french and the dutch came to an agreement to share the island
  12. 2 episodes in and i have to agree its pretty good so far so far...
  13. 8 million for GoTG! isnt it super cool its going to hit 300M this weekend woohoo! really quite the amazing feat for this movie , i wasnt particularly interested in it until i saw the trailer and heard the song hooked on a feeling , thing just had a good vibe to it and the actors looked very much in character
  14. its not a line but the matrix slow-motion bullet scene has been reused reenacted to death still remember how blown away i was by it , so much i went back to see the film twice , something unheard of back then which reminds me i have a pic to share ....
  15. divergent actually better the 2nd time around , hadnt seen it since theatre! but i'm biased as i enjoyed the books but still have to read the 3rd one!
  16. i need to edit my post i've seen 5 mention i agree on i didnt remember also its a mad mad mad world, i laughed so hard i was crying !
  17. i'm gonna cry when it passes iron man but its for a good cause furthering the aura of awesomeness that is MCU and well the goal is they all get to meet up at a schwarma hangout , am i right ? of course they'll need a bigger table lol
  18. blended it was funny , i had fun i laughed a lot and i kept wondering why it tanked ! sure script could have been better but movie was more than ok i liked the kids , i like drew and adam chemistry ( always have) mind you i'm no fan of sandler but i find him and drew work as an onscreen couple the trip to africa was a hoot ! i like how everyone got closer as days went by... it was sweet , jeff was a perfect douchebag as the ex-dad there was even the guy who was the wedding singer in the wedding singer ! i loved that little detail then there's this actress who played her best friend, she's growing on me i keep seeing her pop up in movies recently like single moms club, think like a man 2, she comes off having pretty dry sense of humor cringeworthy with no help was the black dude singing with his chorus , total facepalm moments but he was ok in single moms club ike i said they seem to orbit same movies this is a good no-brainer! still my fav collab with drew/adam is wedding singer followed by 50 first dates , this was ok but i wouldnt put it in my favs of them together or separately but it was cool
  19. my theatre is showing : tmnt / expendables 3/ november man / step up / lets be cops / into the storm / if i stay nothing makes me want to waste 7.50$, optionally i get a 2 scoop ice cream in a cup for 3.75$ plus transport for bus 3$ round trip
  20. this episode 4 was cool, so much time planning and pfff lol, she's lucky jamie is sweet on her who knows what trouble she'd get into otherwise ! i love the drama between jamie and his uncle , not to sure how succession works as its been a while since i read anything scottish related (my only knowledge comes from period romance novels like barbara cartland novels , many others that paid details to such things as later on daughters of laird would go to london for the season in 19th century england to find a rich husband or wife to float their run down castle back to its former lustre as times are hard for scottish nobility in the highlands)
  21. i'm glad they didnt expand it to a full season , short season = less filler episodes
  22. so i've seen all these films except for those i striked off had GOTG soundtrack on all day , i just leave it on a loop ....i'm starting to be able to sing nearly all the lyrics by heart lol
  23. my cumberbatch he's awesome like that , best of luck getting one of the coveted noms spot!
