  2. Having finally seen both Birdman and Boyhood, I have a feeling that Boyhood will win best picture.
  3. The final act that many people complaint about its precisely the part I loved the most from Into The Woods, because that is the whole point of both the play and the movie: Life is not a fairy tale and people will not always get a happy ending. That is a very bold message from a Disney movie and that is what really made me love it so much. 10/10
  4. Fifty Shades Of Grey accumulated over 200,000 tickets sold over the long Carnival Holiday. Who said this is not impressive?

  7. You mean accurate as in total of tickets sold for each movie or the tickets sold converted into dollars? The latter is rather difficult to calculate because the prices vary depending on the formats the movie is shown (2D, 3D, 4DX, etc.) Total of tickets sold, I started to calculate that starting January of this year, the movies from november and december (with a few exceptions) I do not have the totals, but for Mockingjay Part 1 I estimate roughly 500,000 tickets sold witch puts it around 7,5m-8m dollars (Catching Fire made 4m so it made double of what the predecessor did) Note: I assumed you where a boy, sorry. Note 2: dont worry, I am not perfect with english either Anyway I hoped that helped.
  8. Hi man welcome to the forum, check out the last pages and you will see the number of tickets sold in Venezuela each weekend since November 7. Speaking of witch: Tickets sold in Febraury 6-8: 01.- NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 3 - 55,200 (280,000) 02.- THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE: SPONGE OUT OF WATER - 42,510 03.- JUPITER ASCENDING - 27,320 04.- BIG HERO 6 - 22,600 (1,300,700) 05.- AMERICAN SNIPER - 19,250 (108,450) 06.- EXODUS - 12,730 (234,810) 07.- TINKER BELL - 11,900 (111,950) 08.- 3 BELLEZAS - 11,240 (60,040) 09.- THE IMITATION GAME - 10,250 10.- OUIJA - 9,000 (127,940) A shame that neither Theory Of Everything or Wild got into the top 10, and 50 Shades and Penguins coming next weekend is not helping either.
  9. The are not many white rapper movies out there that I know, but those are not my thing either.
  10. I am usually not interested in black rapper movies... but i gotta say... that trailer was intense as fuck and I really want to see this.
  11. Fifty Shades Of Grey has been in presales since December and the amount of buzz this thing has been getting and the amount of people that read all three books (including the exclusive sex positions book from all the trilogy) in this country its such an anomaly that I honestly think its gonna blow up every single record there ever was in Venezuela, specially with the added advantage of the Carnival Holidays. Oh humanity
  12. Well that is not easy information to find because that is old information and the instagram account that reports this stuff is pretty new. The only scrap of information I could find about that is that up until January 6 Frozen sold 661,000 tickets on its third weekend of realese (Dec 20th). The total number of tickets sold that I could not find, sorry
  13. Tickets sold in January 30-February 1st: 01.- NIGHT AT THE MUSUEUM 3 - 66,200 (174,000) 02.- BIG HERO 6 - 36,200 (1,253,600) 03.- AMERICAN SNIPER - 25,500 (65,500) 04.- EXODUS - 20,600 (205,880) 05.- OUIJA - 17,600 (100,740) 07.- TINKER BELL - 19,000 (88,750) 07.- 3 BELLEZAS - 14,250 (36,250) 08.- UNBROKEN - 11,000 09.- FURY - 7,600 (84,260) 10.- THE HOBBIT III - 4,350 (256,730) Impressive increase by Night at the Museum 3, Big Hero 6 still doing really well, American Sniper increased on its second weekend, Unbroken did pretty good for a movie that was not given a lot of screen but I am sure it will increase in the second weekend too. A very good weekend all around.
  14. Oh totally, a Theatrical Series Finale and then a Robert Rebellion prequel would be awesome.
  15. That is a very impressive number for Game Of Thrones, I can already see WB and HBO giving the green ligth to a feature film adaptation
  16. Tickets sold in January 23 - January 29: 01.-NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 3 - 105,000 02.- BIG HERO 6 - 72,000 (1,217,400) 03.- EXODUS - 44,000 (185,280) 04.- AMERICAN SNIPER - 40,000 05.- OUIJA - 36,000 (83,140) 06.- TINKER BELL - 32,000 (69,750) 07.- 3 BELLEZAS (local movie) - 22,000 08.- FURY - 17,000 (76,660) 09.- THE HOBBIT III - 14,000 (252,380) 10.- HORRIBLE BOSSES 2 - 10,000 (199,770) Interesting how the sales of tickets does not really diminishes in weekdays, especially with the more adult movies like American Sniper. BTW, This weekend is the release of Unbroken, the new Angelina Jolie movie, I am really interested to see how that movie will perform here.
